His rough, course fur almost named him Lionheart, after the Thunderclan ancestor, but alas, he had a much wider head, such as an actual lions, than Lionhearts. He remembered the current leader, Grass-star, saying, "Lionpelt will have to do." His father had purred and licked Lionpaw (at that time) between the ears. Lionpelt also recalled clearly the protest that his sisters deputizing had caused Grass-star, and the pang of pity he had felt towards his father and sister, cornered by the their own clanmates.

« : May 06, 2013, 07:48:04 PM »Windstar, completely silent besides the water droplets streaming from her fur, made her way up to a pinpoint of moonlight coming from the roof. She stopped just inches away from intercepting the beautiful beam and mewed, loudly, clearly, "Starclan, shine down upon thy like you shine into each cats life.". She stepped into the light and it spread off her, her fur acting as a mirror of water. The whole cave became alight with the moonlight, the walls dancings with the pawprints of the Grassclan ancestors. Windstar, her eyes closed, stayed completely still.

She crawled to the water's edge and shook herself out. She then continued on to match Windstar's pace without question, though inside they were eating away at her.

She swam,head raised, the last few feet to the steep ledge of rock that lay underneath, the rock referred to by twolegs as limestone. She hauled herself up, water streaming from her nearly resistant fur.

She kept her eyes on her leader, and then tried to follow her swimming path. As she went towards the new surface, she felt her lungs screaming for air.
