Melony stared at the thing she had just ran into, and flinched as she heard a flash gernade going off in the distance. "...Lets see, random thing that wasn't hear today, plus loud noises for no apparent reason- yeah, thats the Time Keeper." she muttered to herself and headed off towards the noise, wondering what he was getting himself into this time.

Maddox wasn't sure what he was supposed to do- again. He was still fascinated by K-9, but wasn't about to say so for the moment. It'd probably come across stupid- that was generally what happened when he spoke before he put a decent amount of thought into the words first. "...M'name is Maddox, by the way." He said suddenly, realizing that he hadn't actually introduced himself just yet, and this was probably bad.

Maddox's nervous face split into a nearly childish grin as he watched K-9. "Does he- I mean, do you- Er..." Maddox broke off speaking again, trying to figure out if he should address Romana about K-9, or K-9 himself about his intelligence. "Ah...never mind actually." He said awkwardly and waited- for what, he didn't know, as usual, just something.

((Yes, there's still Romana, K-9, and the Professor in there with Maddox.))

The Professor stood up and hobbled into the kitchen. "I'm putting the kettle on. Any of you want some tea?" Romana smiled and called back, "That would be very kind of you, Professor." The Professor continued to ramble on, but when he opened the fridge, he called out, "Oh, dear. It would seem I've run out of milk. I'll just run to the store and buy some more." At this point, Romana stuck out an arm to keep him from leaving. "No, the Doctor wants you to stay here where it's safe. I'm sure we have some in the TARDIS." She turned to Maddox and said, "Care to come along? You never know when the TARDIS will rearrange itself, so some help would be appreciated. You come too, K-9." She swung the TARDIS doors open, towards the inside, mind you, and stepped in, closely followed by K-9.

Maddox jumped slightly in surprise as he was addressed, getting a slight 'deer-in-the-headlights' look about him for a few seconds before his mind kicked in again "Oh! yeah, sure. I'm not so great at finding things but..." he glanced about for a moment before awkwardly setting down the bundle of fabric and mettle down on the ground, putting a hand out to it, palm out, as if telling it 'Stay.' which he was in his mind, but then followed Romana, a little cautiously. He'd been in a TARDIS all of twice, and was never really overwhelmed by them, but he didn't always trust that they'd actually be bigger on the inside. Just a paranoia of his. "Sorry- I wasn't listening, what are we looking for?"

[GUYS YES HELLO SORRY, I'M HERE. Ah... I don't know where Trouble's last post was, sorry, or Maddox, for that matter, so does anyone know? I'm really sorry- in the mean time, have Melony]

Melony had her shoulders hunched and her hands stuffed in her pockets as she walked down the street, still rankled from her argument with Trouble. She'd never even said anything like that before, but she still hated him. He could of done something, but he didn't, he just stood there and watched Newt die- and then he left. Just gone, and she had to sort it out on her own, and it was a mess alright, considering she was supposed to be in Africa- which she most obviously was not. It was these thoughts running about in her head that she didn't really pay attention to where she was going, she was just going, maybe to her sisters house again, as that was where she was staying, but maybe not. Instead, she walked straight past Song, and then The Time Keeper and head on to his TARDIS, putting her hands out at the last moment to avoid bashing her skull.

Maximum Ride Roleplay / Re: All Mistakes

[[no problem, nice to see you back!]]

Trouble was completely out, unaware of anything going on around him. Unaware of the chaos, unaware of the pain in his side, unaware that Soni was speaking to him. Unaware that the van had stopped, and that he was now being rushed out into the hospital, one wing folded awkwardly bent beneath him, the other folded, luckily for him, neither was showing.

Skye was still speaking with the officials, though when she turned to talk to Kip, she ran a hand through her hair "Dammit this is going to be a load of sh!t to clean up. Go on ahead, I'll catch up to you guys." she told him seriously, her face grim. Her resources and persuasive talent only went so far with spilled blood. But she had a slight idea of what she might say. She just hoped it would work, because if there was something they didn't need, it was publicity. If they were lucky, they might be able to slip away without anymore commotion. She hated to even think it, and didn't dare say it, but things would be a lot simpler if Trouble just died.

Kip wasn't fond of the idea of splitting up- something bad happened every time. He broke a wing, Trouble gets shot, Mira gets lost, Skye flat out died. Splitting up was a very bad idea, but then again- Skye had been fine on her own for a while now, and they had to catch up with Trouble and Soni. He felt another pang of worry rush through him as he noticed the absence of Alexa, though he had not come to the same conclusion as Skye had already. "where's-"

"taken. She's safe enough for now, just taken." Skye said, before realizing how insensitive that sounded. This was a little girl who had been kidnapped to a horror-house called a school. And she just passed it off, as if nothing had happened. "just get going! I'll be there, don't worry." she said, turning Mip around by the shoulders and shoving him in the direction of Becka, who she hoped was arranging a ride.

In the mean time, this was exactly what Becka was doing, except she had other ideas in her mind. A look of dangerous anger slipped across her face for a moment as she processed the information about her sister. She was going to find Alexa, she refused to loose another one, and the scent was still fresh, she could still do it. "Kip, go with him to the hospital, I'll-"

"you'll catch up, I know the drill." Kip said, beginning to look irritated. He studied Becka's expression for a moment, trying to figure out whether or not he could talk her out of it, then sighed "Fine, just- er, don't die." he said angrily, wishing they'd stop splitting up. If someone else got hurt, he might have to- he wasn't sure what he'd do actually. Besides, it was to late for that, Becka was already off and running through the crowed, in search of the thieves who stole her little sister.

Mira had wiggled out of Kips grasp, no longer allowing herself to be carried. She wasn't crying anymore either, or shaking, just the occasional hiccup that made her entire body jerk. She was frightened, yes, but she had been scared before. This was different. When Skye had been declared dead, there was no warning, or any time to consider, she was just gone. Trouble... He could still be alive, but she didn't know, so it hurt to think that he was dead, and she couldn't bring herself to think he was alive, and all in all, she just wanted everything to go away. The noise, the people, the smell, the thoughts, and most of all, the problems. She wanted it all to go away. But she stayed with Kip, as that was where it was safe, and he'd be mad if she wasn't keeping herself safe.

[Because I can't remember where I left her last....]

Mars had ended up in the garage again, with her broken robot, debating on whether or not she should try and rebuild it- the head was still split in two. Except she could fix that, there was a welding torch some place about her, she could literally smell that it had been used at one point or another. The process of placing each wire back into the right spot, connecting them all again, was time consuming and dull, luckily, this was exactly what she was looking for, because it had enough thought to it to keep her mind off of things in general. After this had been finished, she placed it aside, and began working the parts of it back together, finding this a bit difficult as well, but simple enough with a bit of time. Eventually, she was faced with a full skeleton of the robot and the head- still detached. After checking that there was no bullets to be found, she reattached the head and it clattered to life.
She had been wrong about the bullets.
Mars barely missed being shot this time around, as she had been somewhat ready for it.

"What the hell?!" She yelled at it as it slowly began to turn around. It didn't seem to turn corners so well. With a small shrug, Mars full on tackled the machine, before it could shoot off again- she hoped she hadn't woken anyone up with the gunshots.
With one knee, she held down the gun arm, and the other knee she attempted to hold down the rest of the robot, which was easier said than done.
"HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, EH SWEETHEART?!" She yelled happily at it, feeling uncharacteristically cheerful at wrestling a killer robot to the ground. She could feel something cutting into her knee as she used the wrench to take the gun-arm off at the joint, but she wasn't really paying attention.
"Ha! hahaha!" she yelled, springing up with the gun arm in hand, the robot petering about the room angrily, pointing its arm at her ever so often. "Not so dangerous now, are we?!" Her knee was bleeding profusly, the fabric around it tattered, but she didn't mind so much. It didn't really hurt. The bullet that had grazed her cheek on the other hand was stinging a bit...No matter.

Maddox listened intently, trying to remember where he had heard 'Gallifrey' before. They were talking about books, was it some sort of library? No, that didn't seem quite right. He flicked through his memory of the Moon Base Fiasco, trying to remember what they had all said. "Gallifrey..." he said under his breath, frowning slightly. And then he remembered, it was one of the first things Medic had said to him actually, along with the fact that if he cut his head off, he would be much lighter. Time Lords were from Gallifrey, the home planet. He was glad to of remembered, but now he wasn't sure why the book was such a big deal. "...If we just take the book back, does it matter?" he asked, deciding he wasn't going to get this answer by just waiting and listening.

...Aside from annoying writing techniques, you know what bugs me?
Those rather obnoxious fancy posts that have to do with whatever fandom you enjoy that are about ten pictures/gifs of the same character on either side of a 1-2 liner post.

Ah... ^^' this is a tad awkward

But anyways, it is Doctor Who stuff, yes, but you see that little [P] in the title?
Yeah, that means [Private] which means [dont post unless you've been invited by the maker of the thread]

It was made for some friends and me, but they never came back. We used to have a love DW thread, before the board showed up even, long before, but then we got a boom of new users and then there was some tension between one of the new users and one of the old users and so now the thread is pretty much capoot, but I thought I'd try and bring it back, for the old users, and it never really took off. I'm still hoping it does, do I'm keeping he thread around.

Trouble considered this for a moment. Basements were always good places to find freaky things, but upstairs looked into the past better because people had a tendency to leave the upstairs alone. Except the upstairs often caved in, if you weren't careful- "Upstairs. Lets look upstairs." Trouble said, flicking his fingers across the screen a few more times to bring up a different sensor- one for ghosts, or ghost like items.
