ooc: You know I just thought of something, I don't think you've explained much of what Shadowpelt looks like in the rp. What does he look like anyways? I'm guessing he's black, but I don't really know much more.

Frozenglare turned her head to the side, as if curious. "You're new, too? Then I wonder why Midnightstar didn't just show me around herself." Frozenglare's face grew hot from embarrassment. "Er, it's not like I didn't want you to show me around or anything..."

ooc:yes your right but he has some dark blue eyes and really thats it except for a white underbelly

ic:its fine *Shadowpelt meowed*im a little curious to as to why she wanted me to show you around when i dont know much myself

Frozenglare looked at Shadowpelt. "You know, now that i'm here i'm not sure what I should do... I mean, I can help you guys hunt and get food but... What else is there to do? I don't know many cats in the clan, and i'm not really a member so there's not much for me to do. You know what I mean?" She mewed, hoping he wouldn't think she was odd or something.

*Shadowpelt nodded*true but the other things that we do is patrol the borders or something like it... i dont really know either

ooc: Note: They do everything like normal clans, train, hunt, patrol, guard, etc. However, training is mostly for apprentices since they usually train hard every day. Cats are encouraged to practice and train with other cats, and keep up their skills. Midnightstar usually doesn't just sit around in camp, by the way. She likes to go out hunting every day, but stays near the camp in case cats need her. For that reason she guards the camp more than she goes on patrols. (Being very protective of it.) I guess you could say she is a pretty active leader, running in and and out of camp all day.

Frozenglare thought for a moment. "I wonder where all of the borders are? Do you know? You know what, maybe we should ask Midnightstar if she could go on a patrol with us to show us around the whole territory." She said, hoping for something to do.

*Shadowpelt nodded in agreement and said*yes... i agree follow me *Shadowpelt leads the way back to camp and soon finds Midnightstar in her den and asks if she could lead them around the territory and show us everything*

Frozenglare followed him, and waited for an answer from Midnightstar.

Midnightstar walked out of the den and looked around the camp. "I suppose, but..." Before she could finish, Pepperpelt walked up.
"Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on the camp." He purred. "Technically both eyes... because I have two... whatever..." Midnightstar purred with amusement and nodded her thanks, then looked at Shadowpelt and Frozenglare.
"Alright, then we can go now. We should use this opportunity to patrol the borders as well."

ooc:should there be anything specific happening during the patrol or just a normal everyday patrol?

ic: *Shadowpelt followed Midnightstar and Frozenglare and stayed at the back of the group muttering to self wondering if he did make the right decision to join this clan*

ooc: It would be a good time to get that plot idea with the enemy clan started. We could call it Fireclan like you said, or something like Soulclan or Duskclan. They could be snooping around Dashingclan's borders and we could meet them along the way. The enemy clan could try to attack and capture the cats, or try to take some land or something like that if that sounds interesting to you. Since it was your idea, you get the first choice of whether you want to rp the leader of the other clan or not.

Midnightstar heard Shadowpelt muttering something about a choice and joining Dashingclan. She wondered if Shadowpelt was doubting his choice or planning to leave. Midnightstar's heart sank about it, but she continued telling them about the territory anyways.

Midnightstar was jabbering on about the pond that was in one direction, but Frozenglare wasn't really listening. She was more interested in finding out why Shadowpelt looked so down, or maybe he was just doubtful about something? Shadowpelt was mumbling something, but Frozenglare didn't eavesdrop on his personal thoughts. While Midnightstar was busy talking about the borderlines they were now walking along, Frozenglare dropped back to pad by Shadowpelt. "Something wrong?" She whispered to him. 

ooc:sure ill be the enemy i guess and i will call him stripe: a former kittypet (basically kindof like scourge but stripe is white with black stripes and amber eyes)

ic: no nothings wrong... i was just... *Shadowpelt quieted and then quickly thought of an excuse* wondering if there were any other clans or rouge cats... thats all...

*Stripe hid in the shadows with his small group of 5 cats including his deputy Beetail waiting for the right moment to strike as he watched the 3 cats pad by*

ooc: Ok, I could role play a few others in the enemy clan, too if you want. Like maybe their medicine cat or something since that's one of the other high positions? Also, what about the clan name? Oh, does that clan believe in starclan? Because if they don't (Or if they are against starclan), then the leader isn't able to have nine lives. Questions, questions, questions.

"Oh..." Frozenglare said awkwardly, and sighed. "I wish I could remember more, all I have is my name and other tiny tidbits," she said sadly. Frozenglare saw Midnightstar turn around. She stopped talking, too. Midnightstar was looking straight at them with her ears perked and turning toward different directions. "Midnightstar?" Frozenglare asked. She realized a moment later that Midnightstar was looking around past them, and that something might be wrong.  Frozenglare quickly turned around, too. 

ooc:i guess you can be the medicine cat and the clan will believe in Starclan kindof but they can call it something else like... maybe tribe of darkness? and the name of the clan can be Soulclan


ic:*Shadowpelt looked up and realized that the others were looking into the shadows and he followed there gaze*

*Stripe then hissed*now! *Stripe Beetail and their warriors quickly bolted out and surrounded the group and Stripe then growled at the cats*what are you doing in Soulclan territory?... the consequenses (<-- fail) for tresspassing is death!

OOC:
I just had an Idea that they could believe in the dark forest, if you want. It would make more sense than calling starclan by an evil name. (Remember that from the books if you read it?) Can we make the cat that is like a medicine cat play a different role since this clan is so special and all? Like that role can be called the clan "Psychic" instead of clan "medicine cat," and the Psychic doesn't heal as much as medicine cats and can fight and stuff unlike a medicine cat. The Psychic can get dreams from the dark forest instead of starclan and advises their clan leader as its role. What do you think? (I'll call the cat Darksoul.)

Darksoul followed just behind Beetail. He gave an amused, cocky expression when Stripe spoke. He hoped these cats were scared out of their minds right now. Then his job would just be made easier.

Midnightstar stepped forward slightly. She looked curious, but not really scared. However, this was a big group that wanted to kill them. Midnightstar hoped she could get her clanmates out of this okay. She figured she'd tell them to run back and leave her to fight them off if things went wrong. "Excuse me, but we have our borders marked near here. We are inside them right now. If you have border markings somewhere then they must have been too weak to be noticeable, and we did not know you had territory around here. We are not trespassing, nor are we trying to. I think this is a misunderstanding, and that we can easily come to an agreement on this matter without bloodshed." 

ooc:sure thats fine you decide i have a bad imagination anyways btw can we have a twist where Stripe and Shadowpelt are like related or something?

*Stripe just glared at midnightstar then hissed*my clans borders smell pretty clean and noticable to me... leave now though... i dont want bloodshed either but you are on our territory...

*Shadowpelt just watched quietly as the white and black cat spoke and wondered if they are just rouges or an actual clan*

"I'm sure it would be better to get this little mix-up settled, rather than just leaving now. Doing this could avoid later conflict." Midnightstar meowed, she'd sounded rather polite and practical. "Our clan borders are right here, and travel along that way." Midnightstar said, poking a spot in front of her with her nose and signaling toward a direction.  "May I ask where your's are, and how long your clan has lived here? If we happen to find out what happened here, we can remark the borderline around here so that we can actually tell where it is. If you can show me a marked area, then we can figure out where both our borders should be." 

Frozenglare looked at Midnightstar, somewhat impressed with her diplomatic skills. She just hoped that this other clan was reasonable.

ooc:k i think that they could be maybe brothers or just cousins like (SPOILER ALERT) Firestar and Scourge

ic:*Stripe just glared at her then spoke*i think this spot here is fine for the border... not like you have a huge territory or anything... and the life of our clan may only be 8 moons we are still as advanced as yours...

*Shadowpelt watched the black and white cat wondering why he looked so familiar*

ooc: You know what would be interesting and ironic? What if Frozenglare had some kind of back story with Stripe (Like maybe Stripe was once friends or enemies with her, or even more dramatic with them being old lovers. XD), and he remembered her, but Frozenglare didn't remember him. That would be epic. XD

"I consider a clan to be advanced based on the wisdom of its members, not by the age of the clan. Our clan has lived here for a few years (ooc: Whatever, if the clan cats even use years as a term), and our borders have stayed the same for a long time. How could you know how big or small our territory is?" Midnightstar said simply. "This spot? Do you mean the spot right in front me, and between us? Where my clan has marked once before? If so, i'd agree on this."

Frozenglare looked at Shadowpelt for a second, then at Stripe. This cat was starting to annoy her, he was  rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. Frozenglare gave him a look of pure anger, her icy eyes seemed to see straight into his soul with a look that said, "I know what kind of cat you are, you've proven that to me. Now, back off."

ooc: Frozenglare's "ima kill you" look XD. That's why she's my favorite character.

ooc: yea maybe Frozenglare and Stripe could have been just friends while Stripe and Shadowpelt were brothers?

ic: *Stripe looked confused a little then just growled*leave this territory... you are just simply wasting me and my warriors time...

*Shadowpelt muttered to himself quietly*why does he look so familiar? was a rouge once i saw? or one of those kittypets?

If you need some ideas or anything for your posts, then read the next sentence. If you want the enemy clan and Dashingclan could mark new borders, then the enemies could attack overnight to try to take territory.

IC: "We have lived here longer than your clan, and kept our same border between you and me. That would mean we are still in our territory. Can't we just make new borders beside each other right in the middle of your territory markings and mine? It would be a lot simpler than leaving now, because we are confused where the borders even are. We would just keep crossing each others lines in the future, not knowing where they are." Midnightstar meowed, she considered leaving if it was safer, but hoped she could come to a fair agreement over the land.
