They traveled almost the whole day. Finally, Fern sat down. "I'm gonna go get something to eat," she mewed. "Then lets stay here tonight. It has lots of trees." She stalked off.

Rainy went in the oppisite direction and caught a mouse for herself. She ate it quickly, then clawed up a tree and settled down in the crook of a branch.

Fern returned a while later, but it was worth it as she was carrying a large squirrel. Bet Rainy's jealous of my awesome hunting skills! she thought as she brought the squirrel up a tree and settld in for the night. She quickly finished the squirrel. Her long day of traveling had made her ravenous. She settled into the crook of the branch and dozed off.

The next day Rainy woke early, and was pleased to find that she'd woken before Fern. Lazy furball, she thought. She then went out to search for prey, coming back carrying a large rabbit.

Fern stretched. It was another great day-that she would waste travelig. Oh well She should probably make the best of it. Maybe she could be nice. Possibly. But if Rainy did anything---oooh! She'd be in trouble. Fern meowed grudginly, "Nice rabbit, Rainy," as she headed out to catch something herself.

"Thanks," she muttered. She tucked into her rabbit, and when she finished she pushed it's remains under a nearby bush. She set out to find a fresh puddle to drink from.

Fern had caught a mouse and happily ate it near a small stream. She then headed back to Rainy. "Should we go?"

"Yeah. But I lead today," she meowed, and began to walk toward the distant cover of trees.

Fern turned and rolled her eyes. "Fine." She began to pad after Rainy.

They soon reached the first tree. "ThunderClan territory!" she hissed.

Fern blinked. "Okay." She wasn't shocked by this. My great-grandfather was Firestar. Of course they will accept. She glanced at Rainy. Although....possibly not Rainy.

Almost reading her thoughts she said, "Oh, no. I am NOT  staying in ThunderClan territory for more time than it takes to pass through." She then added, "I don't have anything against ThunderClan, but," she hesitated, "never mind."

Right. Suuure. But whatever. Fern silently groaned, rolled her eyes and walked on. Soon, they were clear in the middle of it. You know, why do we have to go to ShadowClan? I mean, come on. They eat frogs there.[/i is what was going through her mind.

Ready to compermise, she muttered, "If you want, I guess we could stay the night."

"Nah." She shrugged her shoulders. I'll visit them some other time, when this dumb prophecy thing is over. She continued walking, paws making the noise of a fern.

Suddenly a ThunderClan patrol stalked over to them.

Fern bounded over to them. Haven't seen you for a long time! she mewed happily.

OOC: We could both be a ThunderClan cat in the patrol...

OOC: It's private, but we need cats in the patrol. So I suggest that we each RP a ThunderClan patrol cat....if that is ok with you.

Oh, yeah, right, I'm fine with that.

IC: Greenbird saw rhe two strange cats first. She completely ignored the she-cat 's greeting. "Just what do you think you're doing here? This is ThinderClan territory, you know."

"Yeah, we know," she said flatly. "I'm Rainy, this is Fern," she flicked her tail at the tabby she-cat, "and we're in urgent business to speak to ShadowClan," she explained briskly.
