Loralie limped away from the burned remains of her home. Her family and friends who'd lived in the old alley with her were all dead, ad now the five moon old kit was all on her own.
"H-hello?" she called out, looking for any of her kittypet and loner neighbors.
Other cats had often stopped by her old home for fresh-kill and a warm nest, and she could only hope that someone was around.

And small kit wondered around, peeking her head up at the sky. 'Come one! I think I smell some food!' She called to the older kit. The small she-cat looked around, her aqua eyes searching.
