Yeah, I am, but at this school they don't offer German classes.
To tell someone your name, it isn't like in English. They have a specific verb for being named something called "Heißen" - or if you don't have a German keyboard some get away with spelling it "Heissen", as the ß makes the double S sound... Like in "A**", as a dear German friend once explained to me.
But to use it in a sentence, it's a little different. You see, the verb changes with who you're talking about, and for that you need to learn some Pronouns. Here's a quick chart:
I = ich
You = du
they, you (formal) = sie, Sie
Make sure not to capitalize these, as it would be improper grammar unless it's at the beginning of a sentence or the formal form of "you". Is this making sense?

My school doesn't offer German. They offer Spanish. I have to learn Spanish though, so I'm learning both at the same time. ^^

If you're telling someone what your name is, the verb would change from heißen to heiße, in fact all verbs change to add an -e if you're talking about yourself.
So the correct way to introduce yourself would be: "Hallo, ich heiße Dakotah."
The literal translation of this is "Hello, I am named Dakotah."

Alright, here's a chart. I'll do my best to include pronunciations from now on...
1 - ein (ayn)
2 - zwei (Zvei)
3 - drei (dry, without a heavy R)
4 - vier (veer)
5 - fünf (the wonky u makes sort of an "oo" sound, but... mixed with "u") (f-ou-nf)
6 - sechs (sex)
7 - seben (see-ben)
8 - acht (akt)
9 - neun (noin)
10 - zehn (zehn)
They're all quite similar to their English counterparts, since both English and German are Germanic languages.

Alright, the next few numbers are as follows:
11 = Elf (elf)
12 = zwölf (zvolf)
13 = Here's where numbers start regulating. It's simply the number's word, then the word for "ten". So 13 is "Dreizehn" (dry-zeihn)
14 = vierzehn (feart-zeihn)
15 = fünfzehn (foonf-zeihn)
16 = sechzehn (sex-zeihn)
17 = siebzehn (seeb-zehn) It is shortened for this one
18 = Achtzehn (akkt-zeihn)
19 = Neunzehn (noin-zehn)
20 = Zwanzig (Zvan-sig)

Well if you have 1-11 memorized, 12 sounds almost just like itself and 13-19 are all just the number plus "Zehn".

I will leave the thread upon until Tuesday/Wensday, after that it will be locked and whoever has not posted 10 times by then will have their characters removed from the member list. So go through and count how many times you have posted and then start posting! We're so close to being official and to opening our doors to IC joins and getting rid of the sign-up requirement, don't quit on me now.

Rabbitnight will be announcing the return of Outstretchedwings, the clans former medicine cat. He will also be promoting her, as well as my rat Whitetail, to deputy. A second medicine cat will also be announced.
This is also, like every other meeting thread, an activity check. Members need to post at least 10 times, any less and their characters will be removed from the member list. You will not be able to get them back on either, you'll need to start completely new.
For those who have not yet created your characters bio, you need to do so. You may not post in the thread until you have PMed me the bios. Below is a list of characters that still need bios.

Pretty much it's going to mean that IC joins will be allowed once more. This is to prepare for the clan becoming official very soon. We have nearly 8,000 posts and only need around 2,000 more before we get that status. Congrats guys, one year ago we started this clan and now we're almost there!
Anyways, the member list will continue to exist until we [hopefully] get our own board. Might even get rid of it before then, not sure...
Ah, one more bit of news. After their recent raid on Thunderclan, the new TC leader is launching an attack on Anti-TC. I would like to have the clan open to IC characters before then, that way we can gather some more troops and survive XD I'll let you all know when an official battle thread is up.

All new kits should have their info pmed to me so that I can add them to the member list, so members with queens please be aware of that.
All cats that do not currently have bios, you need to make bios for them. I don't normally allow members who haven't made bios post in mandatory meeting threads, which is a bad thing as those who don't post are generally taken from the member list. I've made a list of characters below that still need bios, so if you see your characters name please don't put it off for to long.

This isn't a rule that will be around forever though, so don't worry. I enforce this mainly because it will help with post count, once we are official and the clan bigger this won't be necessary. Until that time however you need to find mentors for your apprentices.
All high positions need to be keep active. Just as active as any official high position. I feel it is only fair to ask this as this clan is well on it's way to become official itself. Posts need to be made at least every other day, unless of course you know you'll be inactive for a while. If not active enough characters will be demoted.
Now that that part is over lets move onto more interesting things. Like links!
I've already went ahead and created the new camp, territory, etc. threads. Feel free to jump into any that you like. In regards to the Leader thread however, please only post if your character has something important to discuss with Rabbit
