Moonkit was running in circles trying to avoid a cat she did not recognize. It was evident that it was a zombie.

Nightkit cried in terror.

Stormgazer ran towards Violetstar. Forgetting his shyness around her, he looked at her. "What do we do?" he meowed.

Azuri saw what happened to Badgerstripe. Tears erupted from her eyes. "No..." she gasped, her heart breaking.

Violetstar twitched her tail nervously. "I'm not sure," she admitted. "Nothing like this has ever happened before."

Shimmerkit saw Azuri and rushed towards her. "What are you doing standing around here? Those things will be back any minute!"

The infected cat bit Moonkit. Nightsky spotted her and pounced on the attacking cat.

"Are you alright!?" He mewed in a panic. "I feel funny..." Moonkit mewed.


Bloodfang tried to find a clanmate that wasn't infected.

Balia gasped terrified at the zombies. She was still at camp and she needed to find a way out. She rushed through the tunnels as fast as she could, looking back at the dead cats to make sure they weren't to close. As she reached the exit out of the camp the zombie cat tailing her had slipped on a rock. Balia knew this was the chance to run. "Help!" She screamed. "Whats happening?!" 

OOC: I had been reading too much Duskclan RP and accidentally wrote NIGHTHEART the first time.

IC:
Moonkit lunged at Nightsky. "No!" He hissed. Nightsky could not bare to kill Moonkit. He ran as far as he could to a place where he could try and stop himself from being infected. A rather sharp rock lie in front of him as he thrust his paw into it almost completely removing his front left paw.


Bloodfang pounced on one of the zombies. He was in shock still and nearly avoided a bite to the neck.

Stormgazer looked into her eyes. "You must have a plan... you've always got a plan" he mewed the last bit shyly.

Nightkit screamed. He then unsheathed his claws and tried swiping them aimlessly at his nose, not knowing whether our not was he a zombie.

Azuri looked at her. "Those things killed my love!" she mewed, her voice cracking.

Youthpaw panted as she got far away as she could from the camp. She felt easier to lay down and rest, but she knew she couldn't. Youthpaw began climbing up a tree that was rather tall, and got as high as she could, hoping a zombified cat couldn't climb.

Nightsky cried tears of pain as he limped away from camp. Missing one paw, he managed to enter a brief sprint for a moment.

Balia sprinted across the sandy desert, her head spinning. Keeping alert at all times, especially for prey. She knew she wasn't an apprentice but she had to try no matter to find food if she were to survive.

Shimmerkit bristled. "Would you have rather saw him be one of those monster things, or die a brave warrior?" She croaked, her voice low and full of fury.

Violetstar felt a bit pressured. "I'll think of something. Right now, we have to find a place where those things can't find us. It seems as though they can't see or feel so they rely on sound. Since they can't feel or see, it would be best to find a high place to stay," she observed.

Sunfur felt uneasy as he was aware of Sheeta throwing him an occasional glare. "Can we please get away from here?" He whispered to Sora.

Sora turned to Sunfur with a look of despair, confusion, and anger. "Are you crazy!? We finally found some cats who aren't monstrous flesh-eaters and you want to split up? Don't be an idiot, Sunfur!" She half hissed, half whispered. Sunfur smiled. "You can call me Sunny if you like." Sora sighed and began to walk away but Sunfur followed her closely. Sora noticed that Sheeta was smirking while Kotah was smiling confidently. They both had their gaze's fixed on Sunfur. What do they have against him? Does he even know them? Sora asked herself.

Nightsky's eyes began to blur. He fell asleep.

Bloodfang looked at the zombies. They used to be the only family he had left. "I can't go on..." He sighed as his body fell limp to the ground.

Youthpaw closed her eyes, not being able to stand all the confusion of how almost all of her clanmates had fallen to the zombies. Thinking of that made Youthpaw wonder how the cats got infected in the first place.

Nightsky got up. His eyes a glazed red. He tried to speak but nothing came out. "I better go find the others." He thought.

Hearing the bushes rustle a bit, Youthpaw held her breath and tried her best not to make a sound, not realizing it might just be the wind.

As Nightsky walked forward, he saw that the zombie cats seemed to be ignoring him. He tried to ask himself "What is going on?" But all that came out was a moan. He jumped in shock. He was infected.

Youthpaw opened her eyes, glad that nobody jumped out of the bush.

Sunfur laid his tail on Sora's shoulder. "I really think we should go our separate ways," he begged, eying Kotah and Sheeta once more.

"What's the matter?" Kotah asked with a smirk. Sora shivered. "Alright. We'll sneak out when nobody's looking. But don't blame me when you get bitten," she retorted. Sunfur frowned. He didn't want to think about that.

Azuri narrowed her eyes at the kit. "He was the love of my life! If you knew what it was like to have your heart torn from you, then you will understand!" she growled before running off.
