Nothing lasts forever.

Despite my promise to be 'back to normal', and despite my efforts to stay Rivermask, things are going in strange directions. I've lost interest in... well, everything. Or nearly everything.
Time to reveal a few things, methinks... like just who Rivermask is. Rivermask is a combination of my two selves; better known as Raven and Muse. One of us does the typing and makes all the decisions, while the other comes up with ideas and does most of the writing itself.
Raven really did do her best, I promise you. But Muse wants to move on... the ever-flighty dreamer has gotten attached to fanfiction, to Pocket God. And it's even starting to split the bond between me and this site, my solace, my home.
Or maybe not. Maybe it's my launchpad, the place where I stand before taking flight to greater heights. Maybe this is where I start to soar.

Who can tell? The old ways never hold for long. The world is changing, and I'm changing with it.

It's an awesome song nonetheless, and I'll listen to it whenever I can. Thus it's on my camp! ^^ Feel the awesomesauce. It's called 'Double Rainbow Syndrome'; it's on repeat, but it's still amazing. It was made by... I don't remember, but they aren't me and they're geniuses. Gotta love it, man.

Anyways. Back to the point. I seem rather easily distracted nowadays-

Anyways again. Back to the point. Um... I don't have a point. I have a goldfish, who will DESTROY you if you nag me in any way shape or form. This means you, reader! Or, it probably does! I have no idea.

FACT.

I may or may not be dying of obsession, AGAIN, except this time I actually love a fictional character. I mean, I worshiped Raistlin, and I adored Flippy, and all that, but never have I actually fallen in love with a fictional character. I mean, I talk to him and everything, and I go find pictures of him being battered on the head with a wooden plank because he looks extremely cute right afterwards. When he is happy, I smile for him. And yet in more than half my fanfictions I'm beating him up and whatever. Do I have mental problems or what?

And by that I mean DUDE, YOU'VE GOT TO HELP ME, MY TIE IS EVIL AND IT'S TRYING TO KILLLLLL MEEEEEE kind of problems! I mean, this long with only your muse and a few figments of your imagination to entertain you is NOT good for mental health! I've had several conversations with fiction characters, for crying out loud! And despite his brilliance, it's a little hard for one of the main characters to beta-read his own story!

NO. No it doesn't. There are brilliant people everywhere and they're getting creamed out there. Who gives them the right to persecute us for brilliance? It isn't our fault that they're fool enough to think that they're better because we're different, because we're unique, because we're brilliant.

So all out there, all you brilliant people, join me here! Let none ignore us! Let NO ONE EVER TREAT US LIKE SH*T AGAIN!
