To become official a clan must have 1 year of activity and 10,000 posts :)

And Streakheart, you don't qualify for the Certified Active Member badge - you have to have been active on this site for at least six months, and I believe you joined in April? As for the Newbie Helper, do you help newbies frequently? Answer questions, post in their threads? If so, you qualify.

If your cat gets a important position( leader, med.cat, deputy) in a clan, does the badge just appear by itself?

Okay, if the clan is nOt an official clan you will have to wait until it is official to get the badge. If it is an official clan, you need to go to the badge request page and ask for the badge. P
