Christmas; Brightkit found Darkkit about to commit kitty-cide (suicide) in the river so they talked and are now back at camp deciding if they should talk to the leader.

IC: Darkkit decided to go anyways. He peered into Nightstar's den.

Thrusheye lifted her head making sure all the kits were there."You opened your eyes now?" she mewed. She stiffened as a sharp pain shot through her, then relaxed as it subsided. Thrusheye shook it off, and waited for the kits to answer.

Oaksong got up and went into the woods to hunt.

Patchkit rolled over in her sleep, landing on her brother.
 
 
 
Frostkit hissed and scurried from underneath her. He groomed his chest fur.

Thrusheye felt another sharp pain stab through her, and she closed her eyes, trying to stay calm."Stonefoot!" she called."The kits are coming!" she added.

Oaksong pounced on a mouse.

Stonefoot was at the entrance at an instance. He darted over. "Ok, just breathe...I'll go get some borage and Dragonflypaw." He meowed, running off.

Nightstar's yellow and white eyes shown in the darkness. "Come in, Darkkit...." She meowed deeply. the strong scent of blood filled the air.

Thrusheye squeezed her eyes shut as tight as she could and clenched her jaws as a wave of pain wracked her body. Oh, Stonefoot, hurry! she thought as the pain got worse.

Stonefoot ran back with borage and set it down next to Thrusheye.

Darkkit stepped in and sat down in front of his leader. He apologized about being with the deputy of the other clan.

"It's fine." Nightstar meowed.

"even if he was.. you know, my dad, i would still stay in this clan." he said, looking at his paws.

Thrusheye left out a yowl when more pain passed through. When it lessened a bit, she quickly at the borage, panting. She dug her claws into the ground and yowled as the first kit came out. It was a she cat with light tortoiseshell fur with a white chest and white paw tips. Thrusheye purred weakly and gave the kit a lick, when another strong wave of pain made her grow rigid. The second kit came out, a little black and white mottled tom. Thrusheye gasped for breath."That was the last one," she mewed weakly.

Stonefoot cleaned the kits, nudging them to Thrusheye.

Nightkit, Icekit, and Tigerkit stared blankly at the kits. "New kits!" Nightkit and Icekit squealed. Tigerkit rolled his eyes at his sisters.

Brightkit looked around.
 
OAkkit sighed.
 
Eclipsekit was tustling with Shell kit.
 
SecretMoon sighed and nudged Oakkit to go and play with his littermates.

Thrusheye licked the kits gently. She watched them for a while, before deciding."The she cat will be Poppykit, and the tom will be Toadkit," she meowed. Both kits were suckling at Thrusheye's belly, right next to Icekit, Nightkit, and Tigerkit.

Stonefoot purred, nuzzling Thrusheye.

Nightstar padded into the nursery to see the new kits.

Nightkit gazed up at the silver she-cat. "Whoooaa!!!" She gasped, smiling. "Mama, who's that?" SHe stumbled over to Thrusheye.
