While drawing Ruth said ''You don't have to sit still you know.'' She looked up at him and smiled ''I practically have a photographic memory.'' She showed him the picture. ''See?" It was almost exactly like Mar. Every detail, outline, flaw.

He grinned "you're very good." His smile was boyish, and in that moment he didn't seem so much like Mar king of the school he was Simply Mar.

''Hmm.'' Ruth said thoughtfully. ''I guess I misjudged you.''

He shrugged "its ok, most people do."

''People misjudge everyone.'' Ruth shrugged ''It all depends on appearance, skill, and your status at the school. Nobody ever wants to try and learn about anyone anymore. Just be their friend as in to make them more popular.''

Another bell rang, third hour. ''Okay well..'' Ruth said getting up ''Art is one class i don't want to miss. Bye.'' She said walking in the direction towards class.

Mar nodded. "I'll see you after class then." He grinned wide and gave her a courtly bow.

''Bye.'' Ruth replied without looking back. Soon, she had rounded a corner and was gone.

Mar sat back down and leaned back. he let out a soft sigh and dozed in the sun.

Ruth went to her art class. She took her seat. Today was free draw, so she got out her Sketchbook. A girl spotted the picture of Mar as she flipped over it ''are you stalking Mar? How in the world did you get a picture of him?" The girl demanded. Ruth shrugged ''He let me draw him.'' The girl scoffed and grabbed Ruth's wrist. ''Stay away from him, or you'll be hurt.'' She threatened. Ruth only nodded, holding back tears, she knew she would get bullied for talking with 'the king' of the school. It's not like she could do anything about it.

Mar woke up feeling much better. He wandered to Ruth's art class. Seeing the other girl bully her he hissed low in his throat and marched into the room. He wrapped his arms around her and looked at the other girl. "Is she bothering you Ruth?" He never touched any one or even called them by their names. him doing so now was shocking.

The girl took a step back, a shocked look not only on her face but the entire classroom body's. Ruth literally froze from fright. She looked up at Mar ''I-I'm fine. Really.'' She lied.

"Really?" he purred. He glared at the girl who spoke to Ruth with such disrespect.
