Goldensoul leaped up, bristling, before sighing and padding outside. There, he greeted Bloodthorn and Ribbontail with a weary flick of his tail before selecting two mice.
"Two?" Ribbontail blinked skeptically.
Goldensoul mewed blearily, "I'm bringing the other one to Autumndawn later. Hope she'll be awake."
"It's good to see that you're finally not fainting." Bloodthorn mewed, a hint of a laugh in his voice.
The golden tom scowled. "Not funny, you guys. Not funny at all."
"Sapphiresong, Sapphiresong, watch me!" Rosekit squealed, positioning herself in a crouch.
The black she-cat watched her daughter as she wiggled her tail, her hind legs ready to spring. Then, the little tortoiseshell leaped, and landed on Thunderkit's tail. The little tom jumped up, yowling, before glaring at his friend.
"Not funny, Rosekit!" He snapped.
Rosekit grinned, showing her relatively sharp teeth. "Aw, come on, Thunderkit, have a little fun!"
"Kits, be nice." Sapphiresong chided gently. "You'll wake up Autumndawn."
