Hungerclaw nodded, "Lets go home." he said, "And Littlepaw, I'm proud of you, no matter what anyone else thinks." the deputy said.

I nodded my approval before speeding up so I could get back before dark.

Fishpaw rolled her eyes playfully before dashing to catch up.

{D} I awoke to the pleasent sound of a soft breeze and the chirping of birds. The warmth from the sun heating my pelt, the day was perfect and I wasn't going to let it slip away.

{L} I smiled as I rose to my paws and began to grrom myself quickly. I really wanted to train, catch up on what I missed.

Softpaw stretched her limbs and got up, her eyes glaring at Littlpaw, "Ready to go run off and act pathetic again?" she hissed.
"That's enough." the voice of Hungerclaw hissed from the entrance.

I payed no attention as I padded over to my mentor."We going on a hunting patrol"? I asked hopefullu."I have to see if I can catch a bigger bird then Fishpaw"!

"Actually," Stormbird meowed, coming to the den, "All four of you are getting together today to battle train. Sparrowstar scented some foxes on the border yesterday night and wants everyone to be ready just in case." he explained, poking fishpaw with his paw, "Get up lazy bones!'

"Mwhat"? I giggled as Fishpaw lazily raised her head."What'd I miss"?  The pale tabby she-cat parted her jaws in a yawn before joining the group."Can I go agnst Spftpaw"? I asked menacingly in my more female tone. You guys were going to have to get used to it.

Softpaw shook out her pretty cream fur, "If you can beat me; Heathertail's been training me in battle as well." the she-cat meowed in a friendly challenge.
Timepaw lifted her head, "I had the strangest dream that Littlepaw became leader of the clan." she yawned, rolling onto her back and looking at her brother, "I was deputy, Softpaw was the medicine cat, and Fishpaw was a queen."

"Really"? Fishpaw and I breathed in unison."What was our warrior names"? I felt the same intensity as she did each of us wanting to know the secrets, is this what the future really held for all of us? Where was mother? Father? Was I just co-leader or full leader? So many questions left unanswered and all over a silly dream...

(( Possibly, Timepaw does have prophetic dreams sometimes. ))

"Well, I can't really remember." she yawned, her eyes slipping closed, "Oh yea, Littlepaw was littlestar, if that helps." Timepaw said, falling asleep again.
