Fernwing smiled at her daughter, "Glad to see your warrior duties are going fine." She meowed to her.

Shimmersong nodded. "Yes, it is fun being a warrior." She replied, when some of her friends called out her name. Encouraging her to come over to them. "Gotta mom." She mewed quickly and ran off.

Ravenfur watched as one of his daughters ran off to join her friends. Nice to see she has good friends. He thought as he sat with his own clanmates.

She felt sorry for Sunheart, but what could she do? It was a very awkward situation.

Sunheart shook her head in an attempt to clear her head off Ravenfur. She couldn't love a cat with a mate! The idea of Ravenfur and Sunheart as mates made her feel light headed. She padded off toward the fresh-kill pile and chose a plump sparrow for herself. Sunheart tried to avoid any eye contact with Fernwing or Shimmersong to avoid awkwardness between her and them. Sunheart gave a small nod and threw out a conversation starter. "Was hunting good?" me owed Sunheart, " Considering all this fresh-kill..."

Sunheart turned and padded away from Brightpetal and Sunflower. She smelled the sweet, rich scent of rabbit. Rabbit had always been Sunheart's favorite choice of fresh-kill since the moment she had a bite of it. Sunheart whisped her head around to find that something was following her...

Runningcreek was no stalker. He knew how to play the cards. After all, his past three mated would agree, right? That's how he got them, at least. He nodded, and wlaked into the trees. "One more thing," he meowed. "What a shame. That was a perfectly good rabbit!" And with that, he retreated into the forest. But, in fact, he watched the cat hunt nearly all day.

Finally Brightpetal caught sight of the mouse, and she pounced, killing it off quickly with one swift blow. She scraped earth over her catch to pick it up later, and she continued hunting.
While Sunflower was hunting, she crossed paths with Sunheart. "How's it going?" she whispered, doing her best not to scare off the prey.
