[ᴡhᴉᴛᴇ ᴛᴉʛᴇᴙ .]

We all know the legend of the lost Continent of Atlantis. The greatest civilization the world has ever known, gone, in a day and night, consumed by the sea.
That's a lie.
Atlantis lives on, hidden from our sight, by an invisible force which makes it, to us, non-existant. But inside the force, lies a world beyond our wildest imaginations. Whales that fly. Hawks which speak the Tongue of all.
And monsters. Bigger, tougher, and deadlier than the prehistoric Tyrannosaurus.
And in amongst these fantastical creatures, in the ruins of the Human City of Atalantyka, is a Clan of cats,  strong enough to survive this beautiful yet hostile environment.
The Atalantykans.



Unlike the traditional Clans, it is more of a civilization. Cats are spread out across the City, and usually live in groups of five to ten. Often, the groups consist of families, and usually the Matriarch or Patriarch of the family attends meetings in the Amphitheatre. The ancient Walls of Atalantyka are guarded day and night by the older warriors.
Cats settled here a millenium after the supposed 'destruction' of Atlantis. FRom then, they have thrived, though it was hard to adapt to.





Most of the huge island is covered in dense forest, though Central Atlantis isn't much more than a desert. But the ruins of Atlantyka itself is quite sinister, and is especially foreboding at night. However,  this gives the Atalantykans plenty of cover.



This is where all the commotion takes place: prey-trading, story-telling, Meets, and all sorts. The nearer you live to the Amphitheatre, the higher rank you are.



The Atalantykans believe in two dieties:


Aelaeg ~ Storm Spirit ~ the personification of fear, strength, battle etc.


Yvesh ~ Peace Spirit, Protector of Atlantyka

Accepted. Welcome to Atlantis...

Deliriumstar gazed at the city from the top of her Hometower, The Kaz. Is was one of the strongest towers in the ruined city, and the second tallest. It has been the home of leaders for millenia. To the east, nearby, she could just make out cats walking around in the Amphitheatre. To the West, the ancient Temple of Yvesh. Further away, beyond the other towers and ruins, was the crumbling Wall of Atalantyka. Beyond that, the Forest. That was where the prey was. And the monsters.
She calmly licked her paws as a distant yowl echoed through the city.

OOC; Spiritkit needs foster parent{s} :/ And I had wanted her to be 'special'. It's fine if sh can't though!
Spiritkit dashed after a leaf, pouncing on it then letting it fly off once more. Her paws and the leaf led her to the base of the leader's Hometower. Unknowingly, she ran closer and closer to the unforgiving bricks. Suddenly, Spiritkit rammed into the wall, letting out a shriek. "Owwie!"

Sagespirit heard the distressed mew of an injured kit. Grabbing the herbs he predicted he would need, he ran towards the wailing. "Calm down. Shh, it isn't that bad. See. better." The tom quieted the kit as he inspected her wound. It wasn't anything big- just shock and a scratch. Giving her a poppy seed and licking the wound before putting on a light poultice, he looked up to see his leader.

[ᴡhᴉᴛᴇ ᴛᴉʛᴇᴙ .]

Deliriumstar looked at the ground far below. Sticking her head further out of the giant window-arch, she saw Sagespirit, and a little kit she recalled knowing...Spiritkit. That's it. She remembered that she was still without a guardian. That was another issue. She padded out of the smaller archway that led from the stairs to the Kingchamber, the Leader's private quarters. A guard stood watch outside, and he straightened when she exited. He followed her as she left, as a bodyguard. It was merely tradition. She walked gracefully down the stone stairwell, until she stepped out of the main entrance, also guarded. She nodded to Sagespirit.

Sweetpaw rushed after Sagespirit, herbs in her mouth. "Can I help, Sagespirit?" She asked, hoping she could. She looked at the little kit. "Poor thing," she whispered.

Flowerfang and Stormfur shared tongues. They were at the entrance of Atlantis.

Sagespirit purred, looking at his young apprentice. "I already treated her, Sweetpaw. However, I shall quiz you. If a young kit runs into a brick wall, its injuries would most likely include what?" Sagespirit asked, amusement twinkling in his golden eyes. Continuing, he inquired,"And for those symptoms/injuries, what would you give the kit?"

OOC: ? I actually searched it on the web and some guy thought that my cat was hurt..... whoops. He was a vet!!! Anyway..
IC: I-I really don't know," Sweetpaaw confessed. Though she had a great memory, somethings certaintly slipped. She hung her head in shame. "I'm sure all the other Medicine cats know," she muttered. She sat down.
