"Basement," He muttered and lead her down to his dark basement

"Thank you." Ashley said, rubbing her temples.

He nodded.

Ashley offered a small smile, "So, have you lived here long?" She asked, trying to make conversation.

"Oh, yeah sort of." He said.

"Bro bear wheres-" THe was a little girl standing at the top of the staircase. "Oh, hi." She said as she saw Ashley.

Ashley smiled slightly until she saw the little girl, "Hello.' she replied carefully, hoping that she wasn't to easy to tell that she was a vampire.

"I'll leave you down here to sleep if you want." Nathan said.

"I can't thank you enough." Ashley said, smiling.

Nathan smiled and nodded. He walked back up the stairs and shut the door behind him. Then there was arguing and bickering.

Aahley winced before going to a corner and lying down. As soon as she did she crossed her arms over her chest in a 'X' pattern and shutting her eyes. She sighed as her sensitive ears caught the sound of the argument, still wincing.

"Shut-up, she's trying to sleep!" Nathan gorlwed.

"Fine," His sister muttered and walked away.

Ashley smiled slightly as she fell into a death-like sleep.

Nathan went to his bed and laid down.

After sleeping in a comatose state for the day, Ashley sat up slowly. The sun was going down, but she didn't stand up.
