She smiled back at the kit, and licked her ear gently.

Crystalkit looked up at him,"Will you be my mentor when I'm an apprentice?" she asked not knowing any better that it was the leader's decision.

_{Who me?} Ice asked blinking.

"Yup!" said Crystalkit yawning

She purred, _{Well we'll just have to ask our leader, huh?} She smiled with a smile.

"In the morning." she said as she dozed.

She nodded, then curled up around the kit.

  Crystalkit woke up early the next morning and went to ask the leader bravely if she could have Ice as her mentor.

Ice sat their waiting for Crystal to come back.

Crystalkit padded back to Ice,"The leader said, We'll see, What does that mean?"

_Depends. She mewed.

"Oh, well I'm six moons old in only a few sunrises...he'd better hurry!" said the kit ambitiously.
