Poison of the Blood (WindClan kit is about to eat deathberries)

Blazepelt ran over to them. "What happened!?"

_{She accidently swallowed some death berries.. But we got some yarrow, which helped..} She mewed looking at Blazepelt, setting Crystal down softly.

Blazepelt looked at the kit, his fatherly instincts kicking in, though he had never been a father.

She licked the kits head, concern still filling her eyes. _{Are you alright Crystalkit..?}

Blazepelt touched his tail to the kits shoulder.

She looked up at the tom, worry filling her wide eyes.

"I I'm okay...but I just didn't mean to eat the deathberries." she seemed to be afraid of every cat she saw. Her fear scent filled the air around her.

She licked the kits head, _{It's ok, it was an accident young one. Noone blames you for anything, ok?} She said looked down at Crystal her eyes soft.

Crystalkit looked up at him, as if in response, she nodded her head. Crystalkit looked into the distance and began to pad toward the nearby stream. The stream looked cold and deep, it's color began to fade from a sharp icy blue to a deep black purple. Crystalkit looked at her sickly reflection, the bittersweet taste of deathberries dawning on her tongue. She looked up, the wind chilled her fur. The air around her was wet with black fire. She looked at her reflection again and then it spoke, there in the deathly black stream, "You have been lucky but you have not seen the last of me for I was and am your demise." The vision faded and Crystalkit grew weary and fell into the stream with a loud splash. She got up out of the stream feeling awoken and padded toward camp, the damp lingering in her pale sickly fur.

She rested her head down as the kit ran off, and slowly closed her eyes.

  Crystalkit padded to the medicine den and looked around for Oceanpaw and Tidalpaw.

Ice was soon fast asleep, snoring softly.

  Then, Crystalkit heard a loud howling sound. She remembered the nursery tales the elders had told her, she searched her mind for what it was, Foxes, horses, no...sheep,oooh badgers! No! What was it oh I remember now! "Wolves!" she called. But she was just a tiny kit...

Her head shot up at the howls, and she hissed lightly.

  Crystalkit wanted to run to the nursery, but her legs could not move, she was frozen with fear. She tried to at least get somewhere in this den to hide, she hid in the gorse near the strongest herbs to hide her scent.
