Patchkit wanted to wail.
Lilackit sniffled. "Daddy. I want to go back."
Ribbonsky sighed.
Rusty frowned. "Cheer up. You have me now."
Ribbonsky filled with anger. "Don't you get it? I don't want you! I want Cedarstorm! I want my little girls! But now I can never go back, because Cedarstorm probably hates me, and my daughters will want nothing to do with me because I left them. They must think I don't love them. Oh, StarClan, what have I done?!" She suddenly remembered Emberfrost. "Emberfrost, if you can hear me, please visit Cedarstorm in his dreams! And my little girls! Tell them I'm sorry I left, but that it doesn't mean I don't love them. I love them more than they could ever know! Tell Cedarstorm I will always love him. Tell them... tell them... tell them-" Ribbonsky fainted.
Rusty rushed to her side. "Ribbonsky? Are you ok?" he asked. He had been hurt by her words, but he knew she'd never leave him. Obviously Cedarstorm hadn't made her happy enough if she had left him.
