She was clad in a short, high-collared black kimono with a subtle silver spiral design on it, plain black leggings, and matching gladiator sandals. Maia's birdlike wings, which seemed to possess iridescent highlights, twitched slightly as she waited for signs of disapproval.
"I am the fairy of changes and transformation," said the olive-eyed fay.
