"I've been leader for many moons ow, I hang on my last life and would give it for my clan in an instant." The leader began, blue eyes watching her clanmates carefully.
"I enjoy being leader but my heart goes with my kits and mate. As such, for the sake of SorrelClan, I will be stepping down as leader and retiring to the Elder's den with Lakewood once I've trained one last apprentice. Before that I have a few things left to do. Lifekit, Abstractkit, Goldkit, Mirrorkit, you are all apprentice age and as such will now be referred to with 'paw' in your surname. Lifepaw, you will be mentored by me before I officially retire. Abstractpaw, you will be mentored by Spiraldance. Mirrorpaw will be mentored by Classicturbulance. Goldpaw will be mentored alongside Lifepaw by me and finally Nightpaw will be mentored by Copymachine. From this moment on I will now go by Empioheart, Copymachine will go to recieve her nine lives tonight."

{ooc; Nomless gave me Empiostar and SorrelClan but I fear I won't be able to run it properly so Dew is taking over as leader. I'm not letting Empiostar die, she's merely retiring. <3 I'll still be helping and running the sign-up but the official clan leader is now Copystar. :3}

Brokenecho's steady position shifted into a lazy slouch, her eyes narrowing. Great, a flirt as a leader. She felt like a weight was thrown on her chest, she definitely would be checking on the newly appointed leader more then needed. "You were a good leader. Too bad our Clan's run by a female player," she huffed, storming off into the MC den, ears pinned back. It was unusual for her to be so hostile. Maybe because she was falling into slight depression.

Abstractkit-- paw nearly exploded. "Really?! Really, mama?! Where's Spiraldance?! I wanna start training! SPIRALDANCE!" she yipped, running to Spiraldance happily.

lifepaw felt the shrillest cheer possible emerge from her throat as she flung herself at her mother. "this is the best day ever! apprentice, mentored by my mom and my leader, daddy's back and no you'll have more time to spend with us!" she cried gleefully, her calico coat standing in messy tufts as her orbs sparkled with love, adoration and excitement. "abstractpaw!" she glanced at her sister with eyes aglow. "this is so great, right? ma, can we trained with abstractpaw? can we start now? nownownownow!" she bounced in circles, happiness swelling in her chest. lifekit was one crazy kitten.

counterclockwise's expression was deadpan as he slunk into the medicine cat den to find his love sitting there. face flushed of color, he stammered messily, "what's er... what's wrong?" his heart beat incredibly quickly as he padded over to the fellow medicine cat. "look, i'm really sorry about what happened earlier. it was all my fault. i was too tough on the kid, alright?" the black and white speckled tom was embarrassed and baffled.

Abstractpaw's tail wagged. "Hiya, sir!" she chirped up to Spiraldance, tail wagging like a dog's before glancing to Lifepaw, smiling.

Brokenecho simply looked at Counterclockwise with a blank expression though a displeased frown was on her face. "Our Clan is being led by a she-cat who plays toms faster then a hummingbird's wings," she said, disapproval clear in her tone but shared a small smile. "It's fine, Shypaw is hard to work with. None of my apprentices were like her. Illusionpaw and Skypaw were both overly-eager," she explained.

counterclockwise smirked a bit at this. "copy is... well, she isn't the best choice for leader. but empiostar wouldn't elect her leader unless she knew the clan was in good paws. you're right, she isn't the easiest to work with but i should've toned down my aggressiveness. do you want to... um... share a meal?" he offered shyly. she's so beautiful and sweet. yet we're both medicine cats, and at most we can only be friends.

Brokenecho nodded. "I suppose," she said, pausing. "I just hope that Copymachine won't throw away her duties," she added with a tired exhale, ears pinning backwards as she shook her head, looking back up to Counterclockwise and nodded. "Sure."

Whispeeringslash looked out the warrior's den, wondering what had happened. She stood up with a start as she realised she had slept through the entire ceremony!
What if something important was announced? What if a cat was killed, and that was the reason? What if the kits were all made apprentinces??!!

ooc: The worrying doesn't fit her too  much, but she's..... loyal, at least....

Spotting Whisperingslash trudge out of the den, Empioheart padded over to greet her.
"I'd nearly forgotten you were here, sleepyhead. Goldpaw, dear. Whisperingslash will mentor you. That way you and your sister get equal training attention."
It beat her having to train them both at the same time.

Spiraldance stared in confusion at the kitten running circles around him. The black tom watched with horror as she skipped about in a ball of pure energy.
Oh StarClan, what did I do to deserve this?
"H-hello, Abstractpaw. You seem...excited. I guess I should take you out training then?"
"Tomorrow." Empioheart cut in, her voice still tinged with authority.
"When Copymachine returns with her lives, then we will start training the apprentices." It would be safer that way.

[ okay, I'm back now, for good~! ]

Shypaw sat with her head hung low, listening with only one ear. She was thinking back about earlier, when she couldn't get the right herbs. Pouncepaw had to get them, and he was so fast at finding them and bringing them back.

She was a failure as a medicine cat apprentice. No, she was a failure at being an apprentice, and a failure to SorrelClan. Maybe she should just leave and become a loner; SorrelClan would be better off without her.

Mirrorpaw bounced around but stopped to pout in front of her mother.  "MAMMMMM!!"  She wailed dramatically, "but I want to train now!!"  She rolled around, getting her black pelt dusty.  After a while she got up and padded away, off to find her mentor.  She often did that, whined for a bit but got bored of it and padded off like nothing happened.

Yellow eyes blinked sleep away as the Japanese bobtail made her way from the fairly warm Warriors' den. She flicked her tail as her paws touched the damp soil outside, but nonetheless, it was a nice day. The femme had been listening to the meeting, giving it her full attention, but she was too tired to go outside and participate. Nostrils flaring as she drank the scent of camp, the bobtail trotted to her learer, or former leader, more like, and gave a respectful nod, "Good evening, m'am." She meowed, a cool breeze caressing her black-and-white fur.

Shypaw noticed the warrior just now getting out of the Warriors' Den, and was slightly confused and disgusted. Why was she just coming out now? Why would she not join in the meeting? Warriors and cats older than her made no sense.
