"It's alright, so am I, and Alex. Don't worry, if your scared of him so bad, then we'll kill him off together" she said, and started walking to the Justice Building.

"that's the thing!" Gracelyn said, exasperated. "He will kill you guys!"

Autumn rolled her smokey eyes. "Not if we kill him first, i'v been training my whole life, i'm a career" she said slowly. She lined up as the lady pricked her blood. Then Autumn walked with Gracelynn over to their lines.
She took a deep breath and sighed. "You ready?"

Gracelyn nodded unhappily. they didn't know how strong Miles was.

Alex walked up into the ground of 17 year old boys, sectioned off from everyone else. It was reaping day. He was in simple black pants and a white shirt that was tucked in. It wasn't an extravagant outfit or anything. But there was something to remember him by. On his shirt was a pin. On the pin was a tracker jacker. The reason... the winner of the 74th Hunger Games was Katniss Everdeen. She had killed the District 1 tribute, Glimmer, and another girl with a tracker jacker nest. It showed that he was going to win. But now he looked up front. They were going to announce the Quarter Quell. They were going to say how it was going to be different from all the others. How they were going to make it harder, worse, than all the others. And he was going to volunteer. Maybe he was brave, maybe he was dumb. Maybe a little bit of both.

Miles crossed his arms and shoved his way into the other eighteen year olds, even the other trained ones giving him space. They all heard about him. Miles Chance. The killer.

Gracelyn saw Alex and looked away quickly. He almost looked... hot in that outfit.

Alex caught Gracelyn's eyes and smiled friendly, an encouraging gleam in his eyes. "This Quarter Quell, there will be double tributes! There will be two girls and two boys in the arena!" they announced happily as they bounced over to the glass bowls full of names. His was in there five times. It didn't matter anyways. He was going anyways. No matter if he was called or not.

Gracelyn's eyes shot up. Oh no, oh no... they are BOTH going to be in there with Miles!

Alex looked at his feet. Was he going to get chosen? Oh, I guess it doesn't really matter either way, he was going if he got chosen or not. It was just how it was.

ooc;; Okay, how is this going to work? Gracelyn's going to be the first girl called, but is everyone gonna get called or are we just gonna say random names and have our characters volunteer? Does that make any sense in any way whatsoever?

ic;; "Ladies first!" the announder said happily as she walked bouncily over to the girl's bowl. She picked a white slip of paper out. "Gracelyn Chance!" the announced called happily. She looked around expectantly, waiting for Gracelyn to show herself. "Any volunteers?" No one responded. So so far, competitors were Gracelyn. But he was forming a plan. Team up with Gracelyn and Autumn. Become allies. Win.

Gracelyn walked foreward, frozen. She couldn't believe it. She'd have to kill Autumn. She'd have to kill Alex. She'd have to kill Miles. There was no way she was coming out. None.

Alex looked at Gracelyn. He felt bad for her. She never wanted to go to the Hunger Games. Never. But now the announcer was calling the boy. They would go girl, boy, girl, boy in the order they chose tributes. "Luke Potts!" the name was called. "Any volunteers?" she asked. Would he volunteer? No, he would wait.

GRacelyn stood up on the stage, her emerald dress glistening in the son. She watched as miles lunged foreword, his biceps rippling. "I volunteer as tribute." he said. Effie, not surprised, smiled tightly. "and' what's your name, darling?" she asked. "Miles Chance. and if you call me darling again, I will snap your neck." he said happily.

Effie looked at the two of them, then grabbed the mike. "Siblings! We have a pair of siblings! Isn't it wonderful?" she asked the crowd/

Effie looked at the two clear balls. "Hm. Let's change it up. Boys again!" Effie called out to the crowd. She pulled a slip out of the glass. "Tony Luca!" she called. This was it. His chance. "I volunteer!" he called and walked up on stage. He walked as far away from Miles as possible, and stood very close to Gracelyn. He grabbed her hand and gave her a reassuring squeeze. He was just as scared as she was.
