  Alec turned to face Maine. "Why would you do that? You know you could get killed, or tortured as well. Is it for money? We won't pay you extra. For glory? You won't make it out alive, so where's the glory in that? A whole f****** super carrier against one freelancer? To prove yourself something? You realize the only thing you're going to prove is that you can do something so stupid that you'd get yourself killed before you're halfway to completing the mission. So what else is there to prove? You'd be willing to die for a lame attempt at rescuing them? No, I won't allow that. And you can bet your a** that I'll chain you in a cell to stop you if I must.

   Look, I want to rescue them too, but it's not worth dying for. If you die, or if you get captured, it only adds up for them. It's an a** move, and you and I as well as everyone else here knows it," Alec said, scorning Maine.

"Control, this is Horus, and General Ares, requesting permission to land."
 "Permission granted. As soon as you've landed, General Chimera has told me to tell you to make your way to the command center."
  "Rodger that, we'll be there as soon as we can," Horus replied. They docked in the main hangar, and Horus got out of the phantom. "After you, sir," he said, palm up and fingers pointed in the direction of the command center.

  Eddie looked to his left, at the elite and Fox. "It's the sound of your demise," he said, grinning. In truth, he had no idea what it was, but he hoped that the elite would leave Fox alone, at least. He scrambled into a sitting position, which was rather hard to do when both his feet and hands were tied. He huddled into a ball, feeling rather exposed without any armor on.

Elizebeth Mako watched the pair, attempting to butt in at Alec's pause, but decided against it. The Spartan commander shook her head, looking from Maine, to Alec, to The Admiral, who just played along.
" I have an Idea, how about the person in charge answers. But very good Alec. Sadly, I've Mentally decided to send another person with Maine, then, when he dies, a horrible, horrible. death on that large supercarrier, he'll have backup!" She paused, smirking.
" Alec, you're going with him." She looked at Maine, thinking.
If he dies, I swear I will kick you until your nuts go numb! She spat mentally, turning to Admiral White, who gave a curt nod.

A primative grunt sounded from the cell beside Fox and Eddie. If you looked closely, you could see a shape outlined in the shadows, though, the shape was not of a man, but a young woman, well, what was left of a young woman. Scars and bruises rested on her skin, though not all had been from the torture she'd been given. The woman had been an ODST, Privcate First Class.
She was covered, though not very fondly, the covenant had respect for woman, even if not from their own kind, she covered herself with rags.

General Ares dipped his head to Horus. " Thank you, Horus." He walked towards the commander center, stopping after a few feet to look over his shoulder at Horus.

Jasano stood stood behind the admiral, her hazel eyes directly forward, her hands behind her back and neatly folded. She felt nervous but did not show it, her family dog tag was visible, but the metal square that said Garcia in bold letters stayed motionless on the chain that sat loosely around her neck.

Admiral White smirked. " Speaking of Team Members, Elizebeth, Welcome  Jasano Garcia To Spartan Black Team. She's your new Intel Officer." Theconveniently-named White-Haired Man dipped his head to the Jasano, as did Elizebeth.

Jasano grinned lightly at the ironicalness of his name and dipped her head in thanks."Thank you.", she said respectfully and took a step forward as if it was sealing her deal into the group.

  Alec looked incredulously at Liz. "Are you crazy?" he said, frowning at her. It would still be a suicide mission. And he didn't really like the freelancer anyways. So why on earth would Liz tell him, not even ask, but tell him to go on that stupid suicide mission?

  Clout glanced between Liz and Alec, sensing tension rising. "I could also go. I've been in and out of a super carrier, and they're probably all the same. So I could help direct them to where they keep the prisoners," Clout suggested, as he stepped forward. He only thought that he had to diffuse the situation before it became explosive.


  Horus was trotting just behind General Ares. "Almost exactly like your super carrier, sir," he grunted, getting into the elevator. "To the thirty-sixth floor," he said, holding the elevator doors open for the general.

  Maine was about to talk back to Alec until Liz said something.  "What!?!? Him!  Are you serious?  Please tell me you're just messing with me Liz...  Alec and I are the two least compatible people here!  Can't you give me someone else or let me go in alone?"  Maine argued, having trouble keeping his cool with the new order. 

  "Whatever and Alec,  this isn't my first rodeo.  I know how to handle invading Covenant ships.  So let me get this through your head before we start since Liz insist you come with me, I'm not following your orders.  This is my mission, and you're my backup.  I don't have a problem with you giving advice or anything like that okay?  As long as we can establish that, we should all get along just fine until we save Eddie(I didn't do it!) and Fox,"  The Freelancer told Alec. 

  He took a deep breath.   "I'm doing this for Fox and Eddie.  I don't need the money.  Frankly, I have enough money I could buy you from the UNSC if I really wanted to from all the missions I've done.  And no, it's not for glory.   Honor is a fools prize and glory is of no use to the dead.  I'm doing this, because if Covenant torture and still find it's way into the dreams of someone as resiliant as me, I don't know how that'll effect Fox and Eddie.  So if you're done thinking I'm a glory hogging money pig, and with Liz's permission, can we be off?  Maine told Alec before asking if they could leave.

" Sorry, Alec. It'll be a nice time for you two to bond." Elizebeth shook her head at Alec. The Admiral whispered something to the Spartan Commander, and she nodded. " Boys, Admiral White wises to speak to you before you go."
She turned to Clout, " Clout, I'm not sure, I don't want you to get captured again, if Only there was another one like Ino..." Elizebeth thought for a moment, " Maine, would you like to take Clout?" She asked finally, after a few moments of pause.

The Golden-Armored Elite nodded. " Most Supercarriers are built the same, though, to stop human prisoners from escaping from different ships, the builders change the hallways around completely." He smirked, thinking about the spartan they had captured a while ago.

The Maker of the grunt opened her eyes to see darkness, as usual. She crawled forward, glancing around as she reached the entrance to her cell. New People? No...! She thought, as the elite finally left to go back to his post, she spoke up. " Anyone There?" Her light female voice had become hard and gruff.

it's the best typo I've seen. But  in terms of mistakes, second best. XD (the only one that I thought was funnier was when boobear said "meowed the porcupine" in one of her posts. XD)

  Alec was poised to give another retort when he stopped. Wait a minute... had he been tortured? Alec's lips parted, as he stood there, frozen. He had never known that about Maine before. Then, he took a deep breath, and upon exhaling, let the tension in his body flow out. He had to calm down, before he could speak again. Now was not the time for screaming and yelling.
  "I'll do it for the two of them as well. If you've got my back, you can bet your a** that I'll have your back." Alec held out his hand to the freelancer. Was he seriously prepared to go on a mission as dangerous as this, rescue two Black Team members, and come out alive?
   Oh h*** yeah.

  Clout glanced at Maine and Alec. Does that mean you don't want my help, or what?" Clout asked, confused over Maine's speech. But he knew that Maine had a soft side, he just didn't know where, or how deep down it would be. But Fox and Eddie were his teammates too, and he had been through the vents, which lead to almost anywhere. Surely if the two of them went in that way, they wouldn't have to do so much fighting, and maybe even be out before anyone notices. He turned to Liz and said, "I only got caught the first time because I was all by myself, and slightly confused. But it won't happen again, if I can help it. They didn't torture me much, mostly because they wanted answers from me, but that doesn't mean that they'll do the same for Fox and Eddie," he said, concerned.


The elevator stopped when it had reached the destination floor. The doors opened slowly, and Horus bowed to General Ares. "Superiors first, if you will, sir," Horus said to the general.

  General Chimera heard the elevator beep and turned, hands clasped behind his back.
