Louis looked at her, breaking his long lost gaze. "No, I wouldn't want that" he said nervously, answering her question.

[~Maine~]

  "Wow, an apparition that's trying to seduce Louis and me...  Yo Louis, am I awake right now?  Punch me in the face," Zak said, moving over to him.

[[swiiing]-inactive]

She shook her head. "Apparition?" she asked, turning to face him and standing up. "That is most certainly not what I wish to be referred to as. Try Reilee. Or if you must settle with a 'species' name or category, try demon.

"ZAK. YOU ARE NOT DREAMING." Louis snarled, grabbing his wrist and pulling back but not enough to break it. Just to make the kid realize it was real.

[[swiiing]-inactive]

Reilee laughed. It sounded real, happy. Human again. "Trying to end the fun so soon?" she asked, sliding up beside Louis and placing her nails on his arm. She dragged them across, leaving pink lines in their wake. Her eyes took on an animalistic demeanor.

"Back off" Louis growled, sliding away from her in a non-graceful motion.

She laughed again. Cruel this time. "I have a hundred reasons not to." she said. "Besides, all the fun is in me not listening to your futile little threats and pleas." She took a few graceful steps forward, heels clicking on the floor. She was carefully aware of that Zak character, a few steps to the left and behind her. Knowing how stupid and naive humans were, she knew he'd try something. Her eyes were still focused on Louis, lights dancing in them with no visible point of origin.

"Go ahead and tell me those reasons. I'm listening" Louis growled, shifting his weight slightly.

[[swiiing]-inactive]

She smiled. "Charming. Literal, but charming. I'll tell you my personal favourite; Toying with your minds is the best part of the hunt." She sized up his current position. The shift of weight made her consider that he may be trying to surprise her and run or just leap at her. Clever boy.

Louis seemed to know what was going through her mind. "I hope you know I couldn't get up if I tried" he said, eyes flashing.

She didn't bat an eyelash. "I've encountered humans before, boy. Can't succeed doesn't mean you won't try." she said, coming up to his side, stepping dangerously close to his arm with her psycho-killer-specialty heels. "Take a guess..." she said, crouching down to eye level with him, "At what I'm going to do next." Her eyes flashed maliciously, and she smiled yet again, loudly clacking her teeth together.

ic;; Louis' eyes flashed, not in fear, but anger. "Go ahead. Kill me. I don't give a crap" he snarled, staying in his spot and not moving a muscle.

She shook her head. "Naive. Do you know where the fun in this comes from, Louis?" She cupped one side of his face, digging her nails in just behind his jaw. "I know you do." she hissed, raking her fingertips down the side of his face.

Louis pulled back on first reaction, blood dripping from both his cheeks. He swatted her hand away, backing into another stupid wall.

"See? It's natural. You want to survive. That's why I love humans. Little sticks and string creatures trying anything they can to make it." She crawled toward him on all fours, watching him like a cheetah on the prowl. Her voice lowered to a whisper. "You're not giving up." she hissed. "I have you up against a wall and I can double any amount of force you could possibly deliver, and still. You're going to fight this. You're going to fight me." Her fingers were tipped with the red of his blood, like some sickening nail polish.
