[I like Romanus too, your posts make me like him more and more, Curio~. It's actually really cute, how he cares for Shiranui, if I may say so. ♥]
Linkoln gathered the remaining prey that he could carry and continued west, following Shiranui's advice. He was slightly depressed from the knowledge that his parents were never an important part in his life, thanks to that tree sprout from the memory, but deep down the dark gold and white wolf wondered if it was better off that way. After all, he didn't feel any sense of greiving for them since they were never around and did not establish a relationship with him, but seeing the way that Shiranui felt about her parent's death, he was inwardly glad that he wouldn't carry around that baggage of greif, unlike his new friend.
Upon arriving at the place he had once found Shiranui and Romanus, the scent of the aforementioned boy was going stale. He must have left, and Linkoln wondered if the boy was okay. Sure, Romanus intimidated the h-ll out of him, but that didn't mean he was heartless enough to not care for whether he was okay or not.
"Romanus must have left. . ." Linkoln said to Shiranui, dropping the prey nonchalantly as he tasted the scent. "There's nothing to indicate he's in trouble. . ."
