{That sounds really bad, Nightfeather. My state had a huge heat wave. The heat wave may be over, but the weather is still way hotter then average. So, while I still have the internet, I've lost lots of my outdoor availabilities.}

While Romanus hadn't gotten far from the original spot, he was still hidden by a small outcropping of trees. The black haired boy began approaching the wounded girl again. The smell of blood was very heavy about her, as was the sight of the scarlet liquid.

Blood.
Pain.
Fear.

All of those things were present about the girl, yet, Romanus still wanted to help her. He didn't want to be the boy who'd been mistreated and never stood up for himself. He wanted to make a difference, he didn't want to hide.

Help.

He wanted to help.

Okia took a deep breath and started to approach Romanus. Although she still had no idea what he was going to do, the sight of someone that looked like her the one in her vision was comforting. Okia was still out of the sorts, though. She still didn't know exactly who she was or where the heck she was. She knew only a small fragment of her past and this boy, who may or may not have been from her vision, is standing right in front of her.

Now that he was within touching distance of the injured girl, Romanus didn't hesitate. He carefully wrapped the white cloth of his t-shirt around her wrist and watched it slowly turn scarlet.

That wasn't much of a help.
For, she was bleeding everywhere.
And it wasn't enough.

Taking his shirt off, Romanus helped dab the blood off of the girl's body. "Feeling any better?" He asked her, his voice still somewhat scratchy.

Yellow eyes flickered at Linkoln, watching as he placed the fresh-kill that they caught down onto the bare earth. Shiranui padded up beside him, doing the same thing as well. She had felt every single muscle in her body tense at the thought of Romanus' disappearance, and it probably shone clearly on her face. "Ah.." she began, nose pointed in the air. "I scent him.. He's over.." Looking to the side, she found that the dark-haired boy had never really left, though he was further than they were before.

"There?"

Shiranui finished, though the last word came out as more of a question, whether she had intended it or not. She narrowed her eyes, trying to get a better look at what he was doing, though the fresh scent of blood hung heavily in the air. She felt her heart beat against her chest and almost sprinted up to him, though she quickly realized that he was kneeling beside another person, aiding them. Shiranui let a small breath of relief exit her lips upon seeing that it wasn't him who was injured, but some other girl. She gazed back up at Linkoln in question, as if asking, What the hell did we miss?

Linkoln was just as confused as she was, and he shrugged at her was she passed him a confused look. The boy decided it was probably best to not be in wolf form while an injured girl was around, for two reasons: being a wolf, they could accidentally scare her. And for another reason, he wanted to help instead of just sit on his tail. But what of Romanus didn't like outside help?
Oh well.
The wolf closed its baby blue eyes as he felt his bones shift and rearrange as he transformed into his other self, and Linkoln opened his eyes slowly to realize he was back as a blonde haired boy again. Standing up from his previous position on his hands and knees, and gestured that Shiranui would want to do the same, but who was he to command her on what to do. Linkoln subconsciously smiled.

Seeing how Linkoln had shifted, Shiranui had given a small nod to awknowledge his gesture towards her. He probably wanted to help the injured girl, and she couldn't blame him - she wanted to do the same as well. In just a few moments of bones popping and grinding to form her other self, the white-haired sixteen-year old stood up beside her new friend, blinking as she realized he was smiling. She made a "Pffft" sound about it, and reached over to try and grab his arm, wanting him to come with her to the newcomer and Romanus, though she wasn't sure how the girl would react to seeing more people.

How funny would it be if she was a shifter?

Shiranui ended up a foot or so behind Romanus, far enough so that if the girl felt threatened or frightened, they could leave her to be alone. Though she appeared to be in some serious damage, just at the look of the blood loss. She noted that he had wrapped the wounds with his T-shirt, witch made Shiranui shift uncomfortably for some reason.

"Is there anything we can do to help?"

She questioned Romanus, tilting her head slightly. But truthfully, how could they help? Perhaps the best thing to do would be putting pressure on the cuts, but still..

<sub>Turning to notice Linkoln and Shiranui, Romanus easily shook his head at their question.

"What do you think I should do?"

He asked. Romanus was about as far from being a doctor as anyone else could be. Sure, he knew that stopping the bleeding would be important. But what about infection? Should they go back to the lake and try to clean the girl's wounds?

Honestly, Romanus wasn't very big on the idea of going back to that lake. Not with that monster there. He wanted to stay as far away from that place as possible. But if they did avoid the lake, where were they going to get water?

ooc; Oh, and Freedom, the girl's roleplayer, has been really inactive lately. Just to inform you. I know her outside of WCRPG, and she's been really busy.</sub>

Okia took note of the people around her and her eyes widened. She wanted to step back and run, far away from there. She didn't know these knew people or what was going on, all she wanted to do was run. Run away and never return. She was fine with Romanus because he was helping her , but these others. Who were they? What did they want? Then, her courageous side came and eliminated all the questions, leaving all but one still standing. "Where are we?" She asked to anyone. It wasn't to a specific person, just to who would answer.

Linkoln stepped forward with piercing yet kind blue eyes and a small smile. "We aren't exactly sure." The blonde boy said, extending his hand towards her out of habit. "I am Linkoln, and this is Shiranui." he gestured to the girl behind him. He wasn't sure how she would react, and out of habit, Linkoln half smiled and reached behind his right shoulder, but stopped himself and reached at his left hand again, which had been the one he had reached with.

That was the second time he had done that out of habit. Why? What had happened in his past that always made him want to do that?
Linkoln shrugged it off and looked at the girl again. "Your name?"

_{Romanus observed Linkoln in quite the same way as the injured girl was. Watching his kind gestures and gentle movements, Romanus got the idea that his new guy may not be as bad as he'd considered him to be. Well, at least he didn't look too dangerous and he didn't act to 'rude' upon first meeting someone. Turning his gaze slowly and even cautiously back to the girl, Romanus still watched Linkoln out of the corner of his eye. If the wolf boy made any move to hurt Shiranui or this new girl, Romanus was ready to attack him for it. After all, the black haired boy was still rather unsure of whom he could trust.}

Linkoln had noticed Romanus's watchfulness of his movements, but he didn't exactly blame him for being cautious. Who knows, maybe he had the easier part of coming to this place... maybe... maybe Romanus had something terrible happen to him, or in a memory. If he had a rough time with new people, Linkoln would be wary too. But that just wasn't how the blonde boy worked, he loved to meet others.
He absent-mindedly cast his cerulean gaze skyward, thinking that there was something he should be doing right now... but not here. Linkoln felt that somewhere, someone needed him. But who? In the few memories that he had already uncovered and experienced, there wasn't a person that he spoke to. The only living thing he had interacted with was his - supposedly it belong to him - horse. By now, it was hurting his head too much to dwell on the fact anymore. Linkoln sighed and returned his attention to the current situation.

Well that was odd.
Linkoln had made that move again, reaching behind himself as if something was there..
Shaking her head clear of any thoughts, Shiranui gave a small nod once he had introduced  his and herself to the new girl. She slowly made her way so that she was right beside Romanus, her side touching his gently as she eyed the newcomer with bright and curious yellow eyes, though she stayed within a resonable distance. She looked at the dark-haired boy, biting her lip for a brief moment as she thought of anything that they could do to help the injured girl.

"Ah.." Shiranui began, shifting a little uncomfortably. "She needs to get washed up.. And cleanse her wound." She murmured, answering his previous question. "But the only area of water I can think of is.." Her voice trailed off, suddenly seeing the hatred and hunger in the cayman's eyes in her memory of not that long ago, when she tried to ask for help when Romanus' leg was stuck in a hole.

"That cayman's lake." She finished, holding back the tad bit of fear that she still held in her chest. Oh how she detested going anywhere near there, considering she nearly died every single time, though she wanted to help the girl as much as she could.

"We need to take her there before her injuries get infected."
