Hunting [private]

[Sylvester]

Arelnol stalked closer to that plump mouse he had followed. Oh, it looked so fine and tasty. Just a couple more paw steps and it would be his...

Bhageera saw the mouse too. He did not witness the presence of the other tom, nor did he want to loose this prey. He was ready to sink his teeth in to his back, his fur prickled as he was alert. He was in full position now, in a stance that showed he would pounce any minute. The only thing left was to focus his mind. His mind also took up position, so now it was only the mouse and him in the whole world. He pounced, getting closer to his prey, but also alerting the mouse. But the mouse was too slow and even it knew that. Those pair of green eyes, would be last thing it would ever see. This was the plan. Unfortunately it didn't go as planned.

Arelnol hissed his disapproval as he leapt, instantly whacking his triangular-shaped head against something fluffy. Shaking his head as he thudded hard against the floor, the blue-point Siamese could tell that it was indeed another tomcat scooting around for prey. Being a loner, the grumpy tomcat didn't defend a certain territory, but he felt as if this newcomer was 'stealing' his precious meal. Yes, our young little Arelnol was a real pain in the butt towards other cats, especially if they were bugging him.

You see, practically everything 'bug' Arelnol. Yeah, he's just that type of cat. Looking up with flashing navy blue eyes, her growled and leapt to his feet. "You scared my mouse!" he spat, neck fur bristling wildly. Gosh, Arelnol was such a hothead. Honestly, he took things way too seriously. His deep, angry eyes flared as he bared his teeth. Of course he wasn't going to leap or hurt the other tom, just mess with him. Poor Bhageera was probably stunned because of the other loner's hostile personality. Well, not hostile. More of a 'get-off-my-lawn' grumpy attitude.

Bhageera looked up, dazed. He examined the tom in front of him, sneering and giving a disapproving look.
"You scared my mouse!"
"Your mouse! I was clearly hunting!-...never mind." Bhageera looked away. He knew there was no point arguing over spilt milk, as there was nothing more he could do.
"Are you of a clan?", he asked.

[Sylvester]

"A Clan? Yeah, right." Arelnol got to his paws, rolling his eyes. He hated Clans. Hated them. "Those puny Clans are just darn right annoying." He raised his chin, flicking his short tail. He covered his creamy-colored tail over his small, pebble-like paws neatly, like a robin perching itself on a sturdy oak branch. Maybe this tom thought the same as him - or maybe not. "What about you?"

"No I am not. I grew up a loner and have always been one. The idea of a whole crowd of cats and following orders scares me a little. Four or five is a crowd. Three is awesome, but then two is just right...
I guess I never really thought about the whole clan idea that much now that i come to think of it. Look, its coming to dark, the perfect time for a hunt. I was wondering if you would like to join me?", he smiled, "maybe get to know a bit more about the cat who stole my mouse. Unless of course you have a mate...or even a family to feed, then I better leave you. ...So, what do you say?

[Sylvester]

Arelnol thought for a second, then nodded. "I'll come." He did have a mate wo was expecting his kits, but Beautylies was currently in her ShadowClan home. He padded after the younger tomcat, scenting the air for any signs of prey.

Bhageera stopped abruptly. A Thought came to him. " Before we go any further, I would like to introduce my self. The name's Bhageera...of no clan", he grinned. 

[Sylvester]

Arelnol's blue eyes glinted. "I'm Arelnol. Arelnol the loner." His tail flicked once.

Just then came a sound from the bushes. About five cats jumped out and surrounded them. Their teeth bared, forming a hissing sound.

"you dare hunt in our territory!" one snarled. This one was dark brown in colour, with scars across its face.
"Who are you?" asked Arelnol.
"The question is, who are you?"
"We just wondered into the wrong path, let us live"
"You will never ever see us again!" said Bhageera. He wasnt exactly a coward, but wasnt exactly fond of bullies either.
"Who ever I am does not matter. You have stepped into our land, and you shall pay with you life!"
Bhageera held his tail up high. He couldn't show his fear. That is what they would want. Arelnol snarled.

"You dare hiss at me cat. I have fought many battles!"
which you obviously haven't won. thought Bhageera, looking at the scars on the other tom's face. He knew battle scars were what made a cat who he was, but the other tom looked like he just wanted to get himself killed.

[Sylvester]

Arelno raised his tail high, aware of the cats before him. Being a loner, he didn't feel the need to defend his territory. "Let it go Bhageera." He rolled his eyes at the cats, flicking his tail.

The cats approached quickly, circling around Bhageera and Arelnol. Bhageera had never been in this situation before, as he usually minded his own business, so no one ever bothered him. He was now relying on his new companion.
"Dude, this is more your street. Any ideas?" he said frantically.

Arelnol bared his teeth, tail lashing. "Listen here, precious kittypets." he snarled. "We were just passing through, okay?"

The so called 'kitty pets' did not like insults. And apparently, 'kitty pets', is like a human swear word. Bhageera didn't normally do wordplay, so he wouldn't know. The leader leaped at Arelnol.

"RUN!"shouted Bhageera. 

[Sylvester]

With a growl and a gleam in the navy eye, Arelnol hissed loudly, jumping back before the cat could claw him. "Listen!" He ordered firmly, tail lashing like a dagger. "You could go on and attack us like the stupid fools you are, or deal with this humanely."
