Julai jerked her head back up as Avy looked into her eyes, an expression held in her face that she couldn't seem to place. She heard her neck crack as she moved it sharply, and whipped around to watch the two, intrigued by what was going on. She hadn't known Charles for very long, but she'd known him long enough to figure that he didn't have a single chance with someone like Avy. She laughed quietly at the thought, quietly enough so that no one would hear.
