The tom peered over to Aasha, who had just gotten in trouble. Sighing, he turned to look at Sora.
"Sorry, it was my fault. I asked the question to her, anyways," he mumbled, looking at his paws. "And I also was being matter-of-factly for saying that green wasn't a primary colour, so I'm sorry about that too."

"Good!" Rocket grinned. "Hey, Sora, how does my orange look?" the trainee stylist turned her head to Sora. "Is it good? Or is it bad? Or is it inbetween?" snorting slightly at what Sora had said to Aasha, the she looked at her orange pile of 'paint'. "I want to colour myself with this," she announced. "It'd be really cool on my fur."

While Sora spoke, Festus begun to thicken up his paint with some honey, paws kneading the mix carefully. He looked up once he was happy with it, just catching what Rocket's announcement "I want to colour myself with this. It'd be really cool on my fur." Festus nodded. "Yeah..." He begun, pretending to look Rocket over "But, I think you'd look even better if you added a bit of purple. Like this!" He took a step closer and begun to paint a swirl on Rocket's shoulder, his front paws still covered with the paint he had just made.

Finishing the swirl, he took a step back. "Perfect!" He announced with a twitch of his tail, a pleased look coming into his eyes. "Now the orange will look even better! When you paint it on, of course" He added, sitting down at his purple paint again.

Rocket turned her head, looking at the purple. A grin crossed over her face, and she felt rather happy. At least, happier than usual. "It's really good," Rocket purred, before getting some orange paint and carefully painting a v-shape on Festus' forehead. "And now your Purple will look better!"

Festus froze in surprise when Rocket painted his forehead, but then broke into a fit of giggles. "Yes! Together we'll be the...um....purple and orange cats!" He announced. Striking a heroic pose, he added "Yeah, it'll be awesome. We'll like, style all the cats and with our epic painting, they'll win ALL their battles! We'll be nearly as good as Sora!" He glanced over at his mentor, eyes bright. Then he remembered the other trainees. Spinning around to face him, the hyper tom began to speak again, rather fast

"And Aasha and Drew can be the green cats! Yeah! And they'll style the cats all forest-like" He ended, pausing slightly for suspense. Sitting back down, the kit began to calm down. Looking over at Sora again, he asked in a much more relaxed manner "So, Sora, what do we learn next?"

"Green an' orange and purple," Rocket mewed. "Drew and Aasha can make a forest, Festus can make...uh...patterns, and i'll make sunsets and sunrises. If we put it all together our 'customers' will be dazzling! Right, Sora?"

Aasha looked down, shuffling her paws uncomfortably. "Sorry, Sora." She mumbled, not daring to look up.

[Viperfang -- GONE]

"It's okay," Sora replied, giving Aasha a reassuring lick. She gazed at the other trainees, glancing at their paints. "Good, very good," she murmured softly, her aqua eyes gleaming in happiness.

The Head Stylist padded over to the bathtub and retrieved a few large leaves. She set them down in front of each trainee, then flicked her tail toward the paints they had made. "I'll be needing this paint in the future, so scoop it all up with the leaves and place it in the tub."

OOC: Please let me know if Sora didn't respond to one of your cat's questions. It's hard for me to keep track of all of the replies.

FUTURE WONDERBOLT

Aasha nodded, then scooped her purple and green paints up, placing them in separate leaves. Folding them up, she placed them in the bathtub.

Looking in the tub, she wondered how many different paints had been made and put in there. Probably thousands upon thousands... upon thousands. How long had stylists been around? Of course, it would be a long time, but she had no idea of the actual amount of time. Obviously ages before she was born, and probably long before Sora first opened her eyes.

It seemed weird imagining the Head Stylist as a kitten, or even a trainee. Maybe Aasha would one day get as far as her. Maybe... maybe further. She'd like that, but knew it was most unlikely.

"Ok!" Rocket purred, scooping up her orange with a leaf and putting it in the tub. "What will we do now? More paint? Could we paint each other?"

Festus nodded and grabbed a leaf, scooping up his purple paint. He dropped it in the tub, then sat down next to Rocket again. "Oooh, yeah, can we style each other? I wanna style Rocket!" He said, looking at his friend "Mmmhmm, I'll give you some thorns for horns, some feathers on your legs and nice, bright purple and orange swirls on your shoulders!" He announced "Then you can style me!"

Looking over at the other trainees, Festus continued "Drew, Aasha, you two can style each other! Then we'll all be pretty and colorful and totally EPIC!" He finished, taking in a deep breath. Relaxing, he looked around at the others, eyes shining brightly.

"And I could dip thorns in purple paint if we can and put them as horns on your head, and I can get orange and put it over feathers and give you a big ring that looks like a lion mane around your face and neck!" Rocket announced. "It'd be great!"

"Yes, we you all can style some more. I think we've finished our lesson for the day," Sora chuckled, giving each of her trainees a proud glance. Oh, they were wonderful. So eager, she thought. Just like Alois and I were.

The Head Stylist padded over to some of the supplies and started cleaning up after the kits. There was paint here and there, not to mention a few broken, scattered supplies. Sora carefully managed to put most of it in the tub, and discard the rest.

"Aww!" Rocket meowed. "Cmon! There's still so much more to learn! Please can we learn something else, like colours that make moods or whatever you do when you paint other cats to see what looks best? Pretty, pretty please?"
