Burrwing of WindClanCharacter Name:
Pelt: Red tabby
38 moons (as of July 26, 2012)Gender:
WarriorAppearance (6 or more sentences):
Burrwing isn't what most cats would consider handsome. He's short-legged, wide-set (for a WindClan cat, anyway), and small-nosed with a missing tail. He does have a couple good features, however - namely, his bright hazel eyes and the flame-on-clouds coloring of his short pelt. His fur is roughly half red-yellow tabby and half white, with the white covering his underbelly, front legs, and parts of his hind legs. His whiskers are long and thin, and at least one is usually missing or damaged at any given time. Aside from his tail, he has little in the way of scars and permanent injuries, and what scars do line his body are hidden underneath his fur.Personality (6 or more sentences--these sentences form their own section and do NOT count towards the 4 groups below. Those are additional requirements):
Burrwing is generally a kind and easy-going cat, especially where she-cats are concerned. There was a time when he was arrogant and perhaps a bit full of himself, but the event that resulted in the loss of his tail humbled him drastically. He likes high places - specifically, looking down on the territory from high places - and was an exceptional climber before he lost his tail. He hates getting up early in the morning and can be hard to wake when it's his turn to do a dawn patrol, but otherwise he's eager to do his part for the clan. He prefers fighting to hunting and will be one of the first cats to jump into a battle but one of the last to catch food. He's also been known to start unnecessary fights with members of other clans, and he's chased prey over the borders more than once. He does try to uphold the warrior code...he just doesn't always manage it, for some reason.---Likes (at least 3):
Heights, she-cats, fighting (sparring or actual battles), training, climbing--- Dislikes (at least 3):
Water, losing, failing a hunt, rogues, cats in other clans, cats that are too full of themselves---Strengths (No MORE than 5):
He's a talented fighter, a more than decent climber (even if he lost some of the skill after the tail incident), and stronger than the average cat---Weaknesses (At least 3):
He's slower than the average cat, can't balance as well as the others, cannot swim (at all...), and he's a poor hunterHistory (8 or more sentences):
The beginning of Burrwing's life is rather normal and boring. He was part of a litter of four, born to two young WindClan cats and looked after by his mother and the other queens. He and his siblings grew and played together for the first three months, unaware that anything bad could ever happen to them.
Only, something bad did happen.
One night, a badger attacked the camp, somehow forcing its way to the nursery. His parents did their best to fight it off, and the clan was able to drive it away before any kits were hurt, but both parents died from their injuries. The other queens took on the role of parents for the kits, but it wasn't the same. The litter grew apart, each kit viewing the other as an unpleasant reminder of past events.
Time passed and they were made apprentices. Life had gained some sense of normalcy for Burrpaw, though he still missed his family. He grew close to his mentor and the other apprentices and proved to be a fast learner during his training. This gave him a bit of an ego, and - when a dog tried to force its way into the camp - he felt it'd be no problem for him to drive it off alone. The battle lasted a few seconds before intense pain in the area that had been his tail took him out of the fight. He was devastated at the loss, but time heals all and he began t view the event as a lesson in humility.
The rest of his apprenticeship was relatively uneventful. He eventually became a warrior and has been serving his clan under that rank since. He has yet to train an apprentice or take a mate. Perhaps both privileges are in his future... Roleplay Sample (Required for first advanced bio):

None that I can think of. ^.^Burrwing's Memories (closed thread summaries and the like):
What's been going on with Burrwing (in his words):
- Attempted to comfort a grieving she-cat. Comfort is not one of my talents, apparently.
- I was given Twopaw to train.
- Tried to impress a pretty she-cat. Didn't do well. At all.
- Tried to impress another pretty she-cat. Didn't do well. At all.
Burrwing's life goals are as follows (in his words):
- Trying to impress pretty she-cats.
- Train as many apprentices as I can.
- Find a mate. Whether kits come from the union is up to her.
