Carter gently kissed his cheek, then turned to the inventor with a sigh.

"Your funeral."He said then walked back to Nyx he kept Ash with them and she was sitting by the rocks just playing with a knife. Ellis sighed then looked away

Carter felt a knot in her chest and his words made her hold onto Ellis tighter."Let's just go." She mummbked.

"Y-yeah."He said as he got up he tried to walk next to her but he kept he's head to the ground annd avoided her eyes. He hated this. He hated that everything was crumbling down.

Carter stopped when they were out of ear shot Snd sight. She cupped his cheeks and made him look her in the eyes."Please, please don't let what he said get to you. I already thought I lost you once. Don't actualy make me lose you." She said her eyes filled with worry but stayed fragile and kept them looking into his.

"I don't know what to do, please just help me make a decision."He said as he looked at her hed never been great at making tough decisions so he could use some help

Nyx raised an eyebrow, keeping a distance in  case they got soppthy, but if there was anything new she needed to know, "Look if you don't tell me, I'm going to make you," she said casually, stepping off the wall.

Dirk sighed, "Well, I hate to say it ... but ... you were nosy ... I don't like nosy people," he shrugged, then tickled her belly. "I make no promises unless to my own people, ... but as my father once told me .. Don't make promises you can't keep."

"I-I'm not a nosy person Dirk....this was different......you went through a seceret place in the floor I was aloud to be curious." She said in her deffence but couldn't help to smile as he tickled her stomach,"And I know, my father said the same thing."

The Inventor got clost to Nyx then held her wrist hard "Dirk doesn't hear about them. Understand."

Carter was feeling alarmed about this. She went and gave Dirk a gentle hug and a leck on the cheek."Thank friend......I hope I see you again." She whispered softly so Nyx couldn't ear. She turned to Ellis and took his hand tugging him gently away waving,"I'm sorry I just don't trust that Nyx girl.."
