These kits were pretty interested in Vinewhip. That was new. "Wonderful names by the way." The tom meowed, glancing at the kits. But his gaze focused on Whynnykit. "Yes?" The large brown tabby had already guessed a few of the questions they would ask. If they were going to stay in Riverclan, how fish tastes like and how to catch it, what the warriors were like. He couldn't tell if the kits were excited or nervous about joining Riverclan, not knowing how they'd look at you or if you'd fit in the clan. He went through that when he joined Riverclan as a kit, since his mother was a loner. Though he didn't like to think about it.

Whynnykit looked up at the warrior as she asked her question. "Do you know anything about herbs?" She questioned, cocking her head. Whynnykit had always fancied herbs. They had a certain appeal to her. She knew a few already, from watching the medicine cats at ThunderClan; Celendula was good for cuts, Cobwebs were good for stopping bleeding, Poppyseed for putting cats to sleep, Epimedium for fevers, but that was all she knew. She wanted to know more. As much as she could get to know.

Valiantkit stared at this tom in wonder. The brown tabby felt better with another cat around. "Hi Vinewhip! I'm Valiantkit!" She squeaked, blue eyes twinking. Her delicate white paws stepped into the cold bank. Brrr! It's cold! Valiantkit thought.

Her darker brown tabby stripes matched the shade of the rocks that were below her. Valiantkit carefully set one of her creamy chocolate-brown paws on another stone in the cold water. With a graceful leap, Valiantkit landed beside Vinewhip. "Mamma! I did it! I did it!" The brown tabby giggled with glee.
