Refuge from the night {Leader/Deputy needed!}

Falconrise turned his head to the almost sad-looking apprentice, whom had joined DarkClan for refuge. "Shellpaw," He began, fluffing out his fawn tabby chest fur against the wind. "If you plan on staying her in DarkClan, you'll need a mentor. If you like, I could mentor you myself." He mewed, a sincere and sweet smile on his face.

Shellpaw looked toward the tom as he spoke to her, glad to have the distraction from her thoughts.  When he brought up the point of her needing a mentor and offered to train her himself, she nodded, purring.  "I'd like that.  Thank you.  I only just turned six moons, so I haven't had much training beyond being shown ShadowClan's borders and something of a history lesson.  I suppose I'll be fighting and hunting just like a DarkClan cat by the time I'm ready to become a warrior."

"Perfect." The tomcat purred, giving the young apprentice a glad smile. "Would you like to have your DarkClan apprentice ceremony?" Falconrise asked, tilting his head slightly. Maybe she'd like to just skip the whole apprentice naming ceremony, or maybe she wanted to do it right, as if she was just about to become an apprentice of DarkClan. He wasn't sure, to be honest.

"Yeah, it's really fun!"Redwing encouraged.

The she-cat purred, grateful that Falconrise had offered. He was just what she needed - an experienced yet kind warrior who wouldn't be too harsh on her. Besides that, Lilacwind believed that he deserved an apprentice by now. Therefore, this arrangement would be simply perfect. Smiling encouragingly at Shellpaw, she listened for her reply.

Shellpaw blinked when Falconrise asked if she wanted to have a ceremony.  She wondered if she even deserved one, but - at the encouragement of the other cats - she nodded.  "As long as it's not too much trouble..."

(That's alright, but there's one problem: Falconrise is now a ranger, so he can't take on an apprentice. He's actually being trained as if he is an apprentice. I'm so sorry!)
