Ryuk limped out of the bushes, his back right leg rendered useless, "Good job, and I'm right here," he grunted, giving a smile as if nothing was wrong.

Her eyes snapped over to where the bobcat stood, his limp visible and obviously rather painful. "Thanks. What happened?" Lilacwind asked, frowning slightly. The fawn had been captured, and the Clan would be having quite a bit of a feast, but was it worth it if one of their Clanmates was injured?

"Looks like he hurt his leg. Hope he didn't break it," Blackflame mewed grimly. The bobcat had been chasing deer that were much for dangerous than fawns, so Blackflame was impressed that he only hurt his leg instead of being beaten and battered with his whole body.

Anima padded up to Ryuk, sniffing his leg. "It's not infected as far as I know, but it could be broken, I can find some herbs if you want," Anima meowed.

Ic// Without waiting for an answer, Anima padded away, returning moments later with broom and comfrey, quickly chewing them into a poultice, and applying it to Ryuk's leg.

Blackflame and Ivorycloud watched silently as Anima treated Ryuk's leg, Blackflame in acknowledgement of the she-cat's healing skills and Ivorycloud just looking in admiration, studying closely how she applied the poultice.

"Ack! Get that sh*t off me!" Ryuk hissed, flinging the paste off his leg, "Yea it's broken, that ain't gonna do sh*t, the damned buck broke it," he explained, "I lived in the forest since I was a kitten, I know these kind of things, the bone has to heal, not my damned skin," he grunted. His pelt bristled slightly, "And plus I don't even know you!" he backed up, tripping over his limp leg and falling onto his rear. His eyes narrowed, not in the best of moods with a broken leg and all.

"She was only trying to help!" Ivorycloud snapped. "Even if the poultice would do nothing, you could just at least be grateful that someone tried to help you instead of making such a rude outburst." She turned to look at Anima apologetically and mewed, "Big cats. You know what they're like."

Blackflame blinked, a little weirded out by Ryuk's anger. He thought that the bobcat was a little more calmer than this. But whatever he though, he didn't show it. He just looked down at the kits.

Pluto just stared at the bobcat as he made a scene. Fawn still clamped in his jaws, the cougar could just say nothing. In his head though, he was snickering at the scene Ryuk was making. Having been charged by a buck before, his own sheer size and strength made it less likely for broken bones, another good tip was to go with the charge, not fight it. Oh well. No point telling him, he seemed pretty peeved off.

Plutoooo This whole conversation was boring. It was no longer amusing, unless Ryuk continued to make a scene or something. That was always amusing. Pluto began to head off towards camp, wondering if the rest would follow.

Ivorycloud was no medicine cat, so she was clueless about the whole poultice thing. She looked at Pluto as he was padding towards camp but decided to stay with the group. She looked at her brother and saw that he decided to do the same thing.

Anima hissed, "Ryuk, if you're about to die of an infection don't blame it on me!" Vita mewed, "Yeah! No blaming it on me mommy!" Whilst Corpus just said, "mommy wish woo die." Vita and Corpus leaped on top of Ryuk, sitting on him.
