scrap bit harder into the cats flesh, the cat yowled and tryed to shake him off,
scrap dug his claws in, withought releasing his grip,
he saw another cat coming out of the same den...

soulstreak yowled, the rat bit harder! she tryed to shake him off, untill she could feel tiny claws
peircing her skin, just then, galaxyfur crept out of the den to help...

tearing off the cats ear...

soulstreak felt the rat push off of her and saw it land on galaxy fur,
a splatter of blood flew from galaxyfurs left ear...

Fawnkit looked around in a clearing of trees and mewed "Mommy?" she looked scared and hungry.

A large black rat that is near her hears her mew and turns to his group of other rats he whispers "Get in position..."

galaxyfur felt a searing pain in her ear,

scrap crawled up through the black fur of the cat,
coming closer to its neck...

soulstreak saw the rat bare its teeth, and shouted to galaxyfur
"its about to bite you!!fling it off before its too late!"

it was already too late for galaxyfur, the rat had deafened her,
she never heard soulstreaks warnings, when she felt the rats teeth slide deeper and deeper
into her neck, everything went black, the last thing she saw was soulstreak leaping towards her
and the rat...

scrap was pulling his teeth out of the cat, when he saw the other cat lunge at him...

soulstreak leapt at the rat, "it's too late to save galaxyfur,
but its not too late to kill you..." she growled at the rat,
her paws landed on his neck, crushing the fragile bones inside...

scrap could feel his bones being crushed by the cat's paws,
"mission accomplished..." were his last words...
his misson was to kill a cat, and fight to the death...
and that he did...

Fawnkit looked at the ground whispering to herself "Mommy... Where did you go..."

The rat calls "ATTACK!!!" they swarm around her and she lets out a cry for help but nobody can hear her she scratches some of the rats and tries to get free. Because she is still very defenselessness the rats quickly scatter from the site and Fawnkit lies on the ground bleeding from scratches and bites.

Moonpaw scurried to the bleeding kit," No!" she cried," This was not meant to be! Why?! She was so young!" she aimed to shower Fawnkit with anxious licks. " We'll get you back!" she yowled angrily at the terrible rats as she crouched over Fawnkit.
