Fireblaze waited for Sorrelstar to announce the deputy his eyes glittered with excitement as he waited.

Tigereyes almost shook, but he dug his claws into the ground to force himself to stand still.

Ashtail curled his tail around his paws as he crouched down to wait for Sorrelstar to announce who the new deputies would be.

Petalflare sat down and listened intensely to the announcement. Anti-thunderclan is gone! Serves them right those fox-hearted fools! Finally they might live in the forest in peace. Petalflare wondered which cat Sorrelstar would pick as deputy. They needed a strong cat to help re build thunderclans strength. Petalflare began to lick her brown pelt as she waited for the announcement. For a second she imagined herself as deputy. What an honor that would be! But than reality smacked into her face. She didn't even have her own apprentice, plus she was just made a warrior. No, they needed someone with experience for this job.

Fireblaze thought about eing deputy he could be itr he had mentored an apprentice and was mentoring a second one now.

Petalflare put down her paw and turned to face Fireblaze.
"Have any ideas on who Sorrelstar's going to pick?" asked Petalflare trying to strike up a conversation.

Sparkstorm watched Sorrelstar with curious eyes. He wondered who the new deputy would be.

Fireblaze shrugged, "I have no idea there are too many good warriors in Thunderclan and that is a good thing though."

"Yea," agreed Petalflare. "We need someone strong and wise to be the deputy."
She looked around the clearing and began brimming with impatience. "I just hope she chooses soon, cause I can't stand the suspense any longer! By the way. Did you happen to fight in the battle against anti-thunderclan?"

"Yes why wouldn't I have I'm loyal to Pro-Thunderclan and no one else," Fireblaze meowed flicking his long tail.

"Same here. I wish I was in the battle. I was out hunting and I missed it. It's disappointing. I just missed my first battle as a warrior," Petalflare mowed sadly. "But if I was there I would have flayed Fierceheart and his followers." she added fiercely.

"I hope it's me.." Tigereyes whispered to himself.

Shimmerstrike limped out into the clearing on scarred white paws, his pelt smelling freshly of herb pulstices, gleaming with silken cobwebs plastered across his chest. Emerald eyes looked up upon his mate, Sorrelstar, then glimmered with fatherly joy as a brighter red tabby joined him, equally green eyes twinkling with delight. "Flamekit." Shimmerstrike acknowledged with a deep throated chuckle. The fiery kit gave a proud mew and slipped between his father's soft ivory paws to satre up at his mother expectantly. Oh please make us apprentices!The kit prayed for himself along with his many siblings. As if sensing his son's kittish urgency, the former deputy leaned down and let his rough pink tongue travel over the top of his son's head.

Dustfur cheered for the new leader. He didn't really know Sorrelstar (nor did he know if he would even like her) but he was glad to see Fierceheart removed from power.

Ears erect, the young blue warrior awaited the announcement of who would take the position of the retired Shimmerstike and Benniejet.
