Ambershine was eating a piece of fresh-kill. She decided to go on a hunting patrol and stand up to leave the camp.

At the same time shortcloud thinking, that life would be much nicer with a friend. But with whom should she go? Her daughter Morninggear should train with another cats and somehow were all busy. So they just went into the woods once. It was very boring.

Outside the camp, Ambershine sniffed the air. She looked puzzled and sniffed again. "Can you smell that?" she asked Shortcloud.

Ambershine sniffed again. "It smells of Twolegs. This way!" She led Shortcloud to a strange thing that was definetly made by Twolegs. It was made of metallic twigs and inside it were some kittypet food

Streamsong was taking her huge load of prey back to camp, on the way, she heard Ambershine and Shortcloud. She quickly buried her prey, and bounded off to see them. "Hey guys!" Streamsong said. She had gotten a lot less shy. "Uhh...Ambershine.. your in some silver twig thing with kittypet food.." Streamsong said.
