Snowy sighed and stared up and silently slipped into the starcave, Staring at the glittering sky she said something to herself.

Hiro was rumagging through the halls.

A noise whispered in her ear.

Rowan walked over to Hiro, "Good morning Hiro," she said cheerfully.

She stared at them from the cave opening, Snowy walked out her eyes gleaming with sadness from not having alot of friends.

Akia saw Snowy and sighing She is still part of the pack... walked over and sat down next to her "Hello Snowy." She said distantly but still slightly concerned with the she-wolf.

Hiro smiled back "hey." He said quietly. Looking around he noticed that moon beams were crawling through the cracks in the cave. Fascinated with it he began to sniff and inspect with his sharp eyes.

Rowan watched Hiro, amusement sparkling in her eyes. "What are you doing," she asked curiously, following the tom.

"Watching the moon beams." He said simply as his bronze gaze looked up and back down wondering how the light was strong enough to make it this far down. Shaking out his multi colored pelt smiled into the eyes of Rowan "Same old same old." Hiro added as he sat on his haunches with half flopped over ears.

Rowan smiled and looked up at the moon, "It's quite beautiful, I do not blame you," she barked and sat down, tracing the moonlight down the tunnel walls. She smiled and stopped at where a paw was imprinted into the side of the tunnel. She let out a giggle, reminded of when her sister had done that when the dirt had been softer.

Hiro tilted his head in question "What are you laughing at?" He asked as he turned his head in the direction she was looking. The dark fur patch tinting blue from the streaming moon. His bronze gaze curious but not pressing.

"You see that imprint," Rowan asked, pointing at it with her nose. "My little sister, Milia did that when the dirt was softer...." she sighed with longing, "I miss her." Her eyes drifted over it a few times, an image of her sister in her mind. The red fur, the green eyes, the small build but odd 'abilities.'

Hiro nodded not wanting to interrupt "I think I remember her." He said softly looking at the imprint "I remember the stories.. the funness in them.. the cheerfulness. Since she is gone.. I think some of that left." He said with a sigh. Looking at Rowan he whispered a "Sorry." And gave her a reassuring lick on the shoulder.

"It's not that she's dead but I don't believe she's alive after all these moons." Rowan shrugged, glad for his reassurance but still wanting to clarify, "She was so odd though.... the way she seemed to 'control' fire." She shook her head, "You must think I'm speaking nonsense."

Hiro shook his head "not at all.. I have heard of wolves who fly with birds. I am one of them of course.. but your sister must have caught the mythical beings. Phoenix. I have heard of it.. Never seen it, never really gave it a thought.. But now that I think about it.. Why not?" He asked shrugging his bronze eyes very curious and considerate as he weighed the possibility. "I wouldn't call it 'odd' at that point.. I would call it gifted.. Special.. Even enlightened." Saying this with a sure voice he looked at her "She is somewhere safe I am guessing." Still sitting he watched Rowan for an intent reaction. Although he noticed the moon gleaming in her eyes and making her fur glisten he couldn't help but smile and wag his tail.
