Nim nodded her head. "And it takes real pictures!" She tucked it into the leather bag that they were bringing and looked at Ashes. "Ready?" She asked.

I'm ready she exclaimed

Ashes tipped his head to one side, wondering where she got the camera. "You guys go ahead," he said. "I'll catch up."

He padded away and slid down the cabinet leg. He scurried towards the bed where his owner slept. He dug his claws into the soft wood of the bed stand and climbed up quickly. He sat on the pillow where her head lay and gazed sadly at her. "I'll miss you," he said softly. He knew that he wouldn't be back in a while, and if he did, he would be completely changed. This was the last moment he was going to be right here, like this, right now. He bowed sadly and left. When he was at the windowsill, he paused. But he would never look back. And he leapt out, out of hospitality, out of care, but out mostly of his old life.

OOC: Okay...so, the adventure begins!!! Just as a heads-up, nothing is really magical until thu get to the kingdom. Everything else is realistic.

ooc;; Nim got the camera from her owner's bag. ^^

ic;; After Nim hopped out of the window, she landed with a thud onto a large patch of moss. Taking swift glances around, she saw things that she never had before. Well, the house was massive and tall when she looked back at it and a robin that landed nearby was also large. Nim thought that all birds were tiny! That's how they looked in the sky! She shook her head and scurried forward, freezing as she heard the loudest, most earshattering noise ever. Looking ahead she saw a human, pushing some kind of flat car type thing forward. Lawnmower! It was heading straight for her! Nim squealed and dived out of the way. She ran forward, on all 4's, until she was out of breath and that was only about 6 feet from where the lawnmower almost hit her.

Thistle shook her head, We are going to be killed for sure. she thought when she scampered down the window onto the ground with a surprising leap. She landed almost has neatly on her paws, making sure her pin which was her borrowed swoard was with her. She looked around her, " There should be a huge bird around here."  she mused under her breath just minding herself.  She went exploring.

OOC: lol then why is the camera so tiny? I don't gotta judge, though.

IC: Ashes leapt down gracefully, still wondering why so many innocent mice had such dangerous weapons already. He bounded across the lawn, freeborn for once in his life. He paused and looked behind him at the other mice. He was a tall, slender figure with white fur and fluorescent red-black eyes, but the edges of his fur was tinted with gray, giving him a sooty appearance. The muscle was hard under his pelt, and his legs were quick.

ic;; Nim bounded up beside Ashes. She was abit of a younger mouse, but she had thin legs and was slim and fit. Her pelt was a soft chestnut, her paws and tail a light pink. She glanced at the other mice and sighed, looking back at the house that she would never see again.

Ashes felt his heart sink a bit at the sigh. It was already hard enough to leave. "You can go back if you want," he told her, trying to keep a cheerful additude.

Nim gently shook her head. "No, I'm coming with you. There's no way I'm missing this chance." She gave Ashes a warm smile, trying to show him that she wouldn't be a stick in the mud the whole trip. "C'mon, let's go find this kingdom!" She shouted, which would have sounded like a high-pitched squeal to a human.

Nim you carry this she said handing her the feed and ashes you carry this she said handing him the water. Though it was muffled so it sounded more like ....

Nim slung the small pouch of feed over her back and continued walking.

Thistle walked along in silence, she listened and watched with interest. She didnt care about the adventure that the other were looking for a kingdom. She had other plans,  but she kept them to herself. She already stopped at a strawberry patch, she sat down stuffing her face with sunripped berry.

Ashes shifted uncomfortably as he felt the eyes of Thistle watching him. He wondered who she was. He stopped at a thunderpath.

For empty seconds the world seemed to be holding it's breath, the air cut with silence. Just as Ashes was going to shout the command to run across, a monster rushed past, the cold metal brushing his whiskers, knocking him breathless.
