Orin stepped into an empty clearing. The mid-morning fog had almost vanished completely, leaving it warm on her back, and the visibility high. She stepped into the tall grass to graze, her long, slender legs growing wet with the dew. It was her goal today to find someone else...she hadn't even seen the face of another deer in weeks. She had avoided them, until now.

Orin bounded through the field back into the woods. She walked along a many times used game trail, until the scent of other deer filled her nose. She let out a long bray to see if anyone could hear her.

Hearing somone responded, Orin bounded towards the sound thoughtlessly. Her ears twitched to try and keep the direction. She finally spotted a buck. She lowered her head, and stepped forward.
