"Beta...." Striker spoke out quietly, "I'm sor-"

"I've nothing to say to you." he had his head turned to other way, "You questioned my right to be here and my loyalty, thats un-acceptable."

They had been in the sewers for hours now, their mudplastered leaves faded and replaced with muck and junk. Their leader sent them to secure a patch of the tunnels for transportation between territories.
They had been in a losing fight against the slave and anti-clan factions over a vital piece of territory, and this, was the only way they could move fast enough to get there with reinforcements and get back to defend their camp.

willowpaw heard another crash, very close now but they still had time to get away. "come on, we have to get moving." the apprentice ushered her friends to get going.

"We need to hurry up!" Beta yelled taking the lead and heading towards the crash, "Thats sounds like...." A shrill hiss is heard.

"Spitfire...." Striker responded.

They burst around the corner and found a group of cats attacking their comrades, one of which was laying still not moving. Striker flung himself at the attacker on Spitfire's back and tore him away.

Beta dragged another attacker away and promptly ripped his throat open.

Striker finished off the cat he had pummeled and rturned to help Beta and the others, "Get out you fox-dung eating pieces of fur!"

Beta noticed two cats were attacking at once, they leapt up causeing them to collide with each other, he slid his claws down the flank of one and chased the other away.

Thanks to their help, the two teams managed to fight off the attackers. Breathing deeply and having many wounds Spitfire turned to the 2nd team, "Thanks.... without you guys... we would...." she stood up and got her composure, "Well thanks."

"No problem." Beta and Striker spoke in unison.

"Theres more good news, we have secured a patch of the sewers for transportation." she coughed several times, "Help us get back to camp, mission acomplished."

Apon hearing those words they helped the remnants of the 1st team towards their exit.

Shadowstreak was searched for a way out. She wanted to see that sun and the moon, the stars... she had been wandering around in darkness for some time. Sometimes she had to... no she wouldn't think of that anymore. What is important is that she is getting out... maybe. She saw the sky from a little vent not far away. She climbed up toward the sky.
