Akiri could sense another vampire nearby and she suddenly remembered the hunt. Her eyes flashed green as she glanced the way Kira had run.

Kira was hiding up a tree, clinging to the bark and praying she wouldn't fall.

Leo hid in a tree close to her's.

Akiri threw a puzzled glance up at Leo. "What're you doing?" she hissed.

Kira stated at Leo with wide, scared eyes. "Are you friends with the werewolf?" she asked in a trembling voice.

Leo looked at each of them but said nothing at all. Something was trying tot work out in his mind. His gears were turning and working.

Akiri huffed in annoyance at Leo's silence. Right when she was about to turn away, however, she caught a glimpse of Kira in the next tree. Her sea-blue eyes widened in triumphant surprise. "Why, hello, vampire," she purred, smiling evilly.

Kira gulped, digging her nails into the tree bark as the werewolf edged closer. Her long rainbow bangs flopped into her face, and the rest of her deep red hair was plastered to her neck with sweat. She took a deep breath. "Stay away from me, Akiri," she shouted, baring her fangs.
