"Do you want to announce it to the Clan, or will I?" Froststar asked the deputy.

Shatteringheart saw FrostStar abd slowly walked near her,she must have been talking to her deputy,"Er,um hello?" she said not wanting to intterupt.

Hazelnose was about to reply when she heard Shatteringheart. "Hello," she mewed, sounding friendly.

"I-im shatteringheart.one of your cats said i should talk to you guys" she said to the both of them.

"You want to join the Clan?" guessed Froststar, dipping her head in a welcome. "If so, feel free and make yourself at home. We love to have more Clanmates."

[Tʜᴇ Sᴇᴄʀᴇᴛ ᴏғ Aʟɪᴄᴇ Kɪɴɢsʟᴇʏ]

   Tiger had being listening in on Shatteringheart's and Froststar's conversation. Standing up, Tiger poked his head into the den. "Sorry for the intrusion but, I over heard yours and Shatteringheart's conversation. And I was wondering if I could join the Clan too."

Shatteringheart smiled but gave a shiver at the word clanmate,"Its been so long since  i have been in a clan" she said

Seapaw sat in camp, starring out into the forest. Since these cats had saved her from drowning she had been restricted to only being in camp. She hadn't gotten a mentor yet like all the other cats her age and was starting to feel like she didn't belong here. Seapaw still didn't know much about this clan or what they call "Starclan." It felt strange watching all the other cats getting along and working together because where she came from cats lived alone and fought when they saw each other.

Sugarberry trecked through the forest. Mud stained her pure white pelt. She could smell other cats but didn't dare to go near. She remembered all too well how she was chased out and she stayed well away from them.

Wildshadow continued to watch as he laid down, waiting for the last response.

Hazelnose watched Tiger and Shatteringheart. It seemed that a lot of cats wanted to join ArrowClan. Well, why wouldn't they? she thought. ArrowClan was wonderful. The light brown she-cat stood up, getting ready to make her announcement for assistant deputy, but she wanted to hear Froststar's reply to Tiger first.



Larchnight sat on the edge of camp, watching everyone. His gaze landed on Hazelnose. She would make a great deputy, he knew, but all the same, he still felt... jealous, there he said it.

Seapaw glanced around camp, she felt lonely which was normal for her

Sugarberry layed down in the mud, she was starving and exhasted

Scratchclaw looked at Hazelnose, when he did, well, he felt a spark. He didn't know what. So, the warrior thought about his wants and needs.

1. Make sure my sister is always happy.

2. Serve my clan well.

That was all he wanted in his life, but, he wanted the Assistant deputy spot. His gaze drifted down to his sister beside him, who was watching things around her, a faraway look in her eyes.

Hazelnose looked away from Froststar and Tiger, still listening for her Leader's answer. She caught Scratchclaw looking at her. She tore her gaze away at about the same time he did, her heart racing.


Larchnight decided he needed some time away. Thinking he would be back in time to hear Hazelnose's announcement, he padded out of camp and headed deep into the forest, not stopping until he stumbled upon a cat coated in mud.

Scratchlaw felt it when Hazelnose's gaze was on him, he felt hot under his pelt.

Lightflower looked up at her brother. "Is something wrong, Scratchclaw?" She asked. "No," The warrior said, looking down at his paws.
