Darkfur led her to a river, slimy with dark brown water. "It's shallow, don't worry about swimming," he mewed. I will be watching while you train with Rockpaw, my mate's apprentice. Rockpaw padded out of the trees, his head held high, along with his mentor, Dapplesoul, Darkfur's mate. Rockpaw walked into the stinky goo, reaching to his neck, as he tried keeping his face above water. "Now, what I want you to do, is strike at his paws, sending him unbalanced and into the water, as he struggles to regain balance on the rocky bottom, nip at his neck. Sheath your claws, or one of them might get stuck and get pulled out."

Darkpaw nodded she didn't want a wrenched claw.

Rockpaw gripped the bottom of the river, watching Darkpaw and waiting for her to come in.

Darkpaw leaped in and swatted blindly at Rockpaw's front paws

Rockpaw slipped in the slimy water, his head going under. "Now's your chance!" Darkfur hissed from where he was.

As she didn't want to hurt Rockpaw too much she aimed a light nip at his neck

Rockpaw held his breath under water and hit her legs from under her, then aimed a sharp and painful nip at her neck.

Darkpaw growled and flung a powerful blow at his legs.

Rockpaw swam up and clawed his way onto land, gasping for air. Darkfur smirked. "Rockpaw..... You should of known not to use the same move." he nodded to Darkpaw. "Very good, I think that's enough training for tonight. Get some real sleep, I'll meet you here tomorrow."

As soon as Darkfur stopped speaking Darkpaw's vision went dark and she had a nice sleep before waking up.

"You too" Dapplesoul hissed to Rockpaw. As soon as Rockpaw left Dapplesoul turned to Darkfur. "Your apprentice has real potential, she might actually be useful. Rockpaw's slow on catching onto things, but he'll figure it out one day." Darkfur nodded. "Don't you just love manipulating youngn's?" Dapplesoul laughed. "I really do." They leaned against each other and watched the dark, sticky slime slip down the river.

Late at night Darkpaw slept and found herself in the forest.
