Effie the Jinx walked up to the stage and cleared her throat.

"Welcome, welcome, one and all, to the 1st Annual Poke Games! Let the Reapin in District 1 begin!"

She fiddled her large hands in the pokeball, poking around the slips of paper.

Pulling one out, she read the slip.

"Wave the Zorua! Come up to the stage! And now the boy representing District 1....Ember the Flareon!"

Ember padded up, thinking of his sister, Ella. I hope I win this.For you,Ella. he thought, peering back at the little Evee.

[~Rosie~]

Effie smiled creepily.

"Well, well, smile for the crowd, Ember! You're representing District 1 in a fight to the death! Wave, are you out there?"

[Shy]

[ I guess for now, I'll just roleplay the audience XD ]

Everyone stayed silent while glaring at Effie. Their expressions filled with disgust. How could she be happy that innocent children will be wiped from their childhoods to destroy others?

[~Rosie~]

Effie remained smiley. "WAVE??" she said, her temper thinning.

[Shy]

Everyone still remained silent, making way for the zorua. Their silence was icy cold towards effie.

[~Rosie~]

(Guess we'll just have to wait. *sigh*)

Effie turned towards the slaves that were forced to be Peacemakers. "Find her and bring her up!" she said in a hushed whisper, her eyes flaring. She turned back to the crowd.

Ember's frown still burned on his face. His anger flaring, he took a quick glance at Effie and looked for Wave.

[~Rosie~]

(Ok, Wave can continue she comes back)

"Well, Ember, come over here. It's time to head to the Capitol. Come to the dock."

-Fade Out-

-Fade In at District 2-

Effie spoke, "Welcome! Time to pick the tributes for District 2! Delia!"

[Shy]

The crowd mumbled when they awaited for Delia to step up.

[~Rosie~]

"And....Tyson!!! Come up, young man!" Effie continued, smiling.

"Come join the Cruise to the capitol, Wave." Effie said.

The audience wiated for the two tributes to walk up.
