"Don't worry! I will do fabulously!" Azibo exclaimed, puffing out his chest.

Clyte giggled, looking at her brother. When Calder came she jumped slightly, then looked down again in embarrassment.

Kyden look sat Clyte coolly. "You could probably go with him." She says loud enough for Aerilyn to hear. The golden Alpha perks her ears.
"Oh, yes! Definately!" She smiles. "All wolves should have a basic knowledge of medicine."
Kyden snickers at her sister's obliviousness.

Clyte's blue eyes widened, but she was much to shy to object. She stood begrudgingly, glancing up at Calder than back down at her paws.

 

Azibo looked at Kyden with a slight glare, seeing exactly what she was doing. He didn't want his little sister to be too embarrassed, or to be shoved into a situation she didn't want to be in.

Kyden catches Azibo's glare. "Don't give me that look. If I didn't shove them together, nothing would have ever happened. Clyte's much too shy and Calder would have never noticed."

Aerilyn caught on to what Kyden had just done. "Ky!" She scolds. "That was rude...but true." She sighs and looks at Azibo apologetically. "It may help. She's never even opened up to me and I've been her trainer for how many moons."

Calder glances back and sees Clyte. "Hello!" He says cheerfully. "Did my sister force you to come along?"

"Kind of," Clyte said quietly, tossing her head and looking up a bit.

 

Azibo sighed and nodded. "I suppose..." he muttered. "She's too shy to stand up for herself, though," he vented.

Aerilyn pins her eas back and lowers her head. She sighs, "I know. I apologize."

Kyden turns and rolls her eyes. "Come, trainees. Let's practice some more before it gets dark." She pads away to the middle of the clearing.

Calder laughs. "They can both be pretty pushy in different ways, but," He turns his head to smile, "it's nice to have company everynow and then, even if they are quiet."

"Sorry about that," Clyte mewed, embarrassed again. "What herbs are we looking for?" she asked, attempting to change the subject on a whim.

 

Azibo sighed and sat down. "I am a bit over protective," he admitted.

Chevron smiles at his words.

Aerilyn nods in agreement. "I know how that is." She turns to look at Kyden who is reteaching the same move as earlier.

Calder laughs. "Nothing to be sorry few. Oh, just a few basic herbs; feverfew, poppyseeds, I need some more cobwebs, mint would be nice.." He slowly starts to haze out in his thoughts. Calder shakes his head. "Sorry, kinda zoned there." They arrive in the huge field surrounded by forest. The smell of rabbit and mice is thick in the high grass.
"From what I hear, you're an excellent hunter, so if you would like to do that it's okay by me." He smiles.

Clyte smiled but shook her head. "Aerilyn wanted me to know the basics of herbs," she said, tossing her head again.

He makes an 'oh' face and nods. "Can do!" He sniffs among the high grass for awhile and accidently steps in a puddle and grins. He pulls his head up from the ground with little white flowers in his mouth. "These are feverfew!" After the first herb, the others are found easily. He shows her horsetail, juniper berries, mint, lavender, sorrel, thyme, and yarrow all with the excitement of a pup. His blue tail is wagging furiously by the time he's done with the scent of lavender clinging to him.

Clyte smiled following happily. She was interested, though. She also found it cute that he loved it so much.

Calder trots beside her as they enter the camp.
"I hope I didn't bore you too much. Sometimes I get a little too enthusiastic." He says timidly.

Clyte shook her head. "It was interesting, I had fun," she said with a shy smile.

Calder grins and nods. "Well, thank you for helping." he goes up to Chevron and shows him what he got and ducks inside of the den to put them away.

Aerilyn lookst at her with a sad expression. "I'm so sorry!" She gushes. "I shouldn't have told you to go."

Clyte shrugged. "It wasn't so bad," she replied bashfully.

 

Azibo grinned. "Thatta gal!"he barked, nudging her side happily.
