Vampire Hunter and a Vampire. Soul mates? This is a prank. Right?

{ This is mainly based around the Night World.
The Night World is a secret society that includes vampires, werewolves, witches and shape shifters.
 They are not allowed to tell humans that the Night World exists.
Any human who does know is caught, and killed.
If they can be caught.
Some people, like the Vampire Hunters, know about the Night World, and kill the Night People.
It is also forbidden to fall in love with a human; the penalty is death, for both soul mates.
But lately, more and more Night People keep finding their soul mates, who are human... }

{ My character, Reilly, is a vampire hunter.

*Note, Wood is lethal to vampires, if you get stabbed you are wounded.
She is out hunting one night and finds that she can't kill this one vampire...
Could they be soul mates ? }

It was around midnight when Reilly felt as if someone was watching her.
She grinned.
"Come out and play," she murmured, her hand on the hilt of her wooden sword. 

[fragale]

Jayke hid behind the bush. " Nah, I'm good."

[jínххíє]

Her head snapped toward the bush where she heard the voice.
Be aware, be aware, she thought, relaxing her stance.
"Oh, so it seems I've found myself a cowardly vampire," she said.
Her scarf was neatly wrapped around her face, so that only her eyes showed.
Reilly never showed her face when she went hunting; exposing yourself got you killed.

" nah, just a smart one. "

She rolled her eyes.
"And how, may I ask, are you smart?"
To her, all vampires were stupid.

[fragale]

" 432 years experience, hun."

[jínххíє]

She grimaced.
Ugh, leeches are filth.
"Then show your face."

[fragale]

He walked towards her. he had blond hair and blue eyes. " Here I am. You satisfied?"

[jínххíє]

She shrugged.
"Not until I stake you," she said.
Then she lunged.

[fragale]

In an instant he was behind her with a knife to her throat. " Unwise move, but good attitude."

[jínххíє]

She growled.
Then she aimed to step on his foot, crushing bone.
She also swung her sword and tried to get his side.

[fragale]

He laughed, his foot healed. " Looks like your a decent hunter. But too easy to read."

[jínххíє]

I may be predictable, but I've staked more vampires than you have killed humans, she thought, acidly.
She forced herself to calm down, and then went lax in his grip.

[fragale]

he laughed " I kill for defense. you kill for sport. Whose the bad guy here?"

[jínххíє]

"You; and I don't kill for sport!" she growled.
"I kill to protect people from leeches like you!"
