Xepher Hunter's first year at Hogwarts: a lonely one?

Xepher looked around the Gryffindore common room for something to do. Her long dark brown hair hung loose around her shoulders and her vivid green eyes shined from the light of the fire. It has only been a month now and she still hadn't anyone to talk to since arriving at Hogwarts. She didn't have any friends. She didn't know anybody. It's unusual for a pureblood. Even more so for a pureblood to be in Gryffindore. She sighed and looked at her watch. It was only 3 in the afternoon and they were no classes needed to go to. Getting up, she walked towards the entrance and walked out to go explore a bit.

Seamus Finnigan walked up to her.  He was a second year.  "Hi, I'm Seamus," he said, "Welcome to Gryffindore, though I know it has been three months since term began.  What is your name."

Xepher looked up at him,"Three months? Where have I been?! I thought it was only a month term started!" she freaked and calmed down again,"Name's Xepher... Xepher Hunter. Nice to meet you Seamus!"

Xepher was shocked to her him ask such a thing. When went from not knowing anyone from her house to some second year guy asking her to lunch,"Umm.... Yeah! Sure! That'll be great!"

"Good," Seamus said, "meet me here at 11:45.  Also, don't mind the other Gryffindor's.  Many of them are rude.  The others are just to busy.  You will find, however, that there are a few nice Gryffindore's and that if they find you loyal to our house, you will be well noticed and will make lots of friends.  Either way, lt me know if you need anything.  I will see you at lunch.

"Cool! See ya later then!" she said as she walked away to go explore the castle some more. She continued to walk until she found the moving staircases,'I wonder what's at the bottom of this thing?' she thought. She checked her watch. It was now 5:00. After going down the puzzle of staircases. She found herself in a dark corridor lit with torches and lined with skulls. She later realized that she was in the dungeons,'Am I even supposed to be down here?'

"You don't want to be here," said a voice, "Believe me."

Xepher looked around to try to see who spoke to her hoping it wasn't a teacher.

Out came a guy with blond hair. (Ron Weasley)  "This is not a place for Hogwarts students," he said, "Come on, I'll escort you up to the common room."

She whipped around to face her speaker and calmed a bit,"I can say the same with you! Aren't you a second year Gryffendore like Seamus?!"

[Clayface (Mostly Inactive)]

"Yes," he replied, "and they moved this three-headed dog here.  It used to be guarding the Sorcerer's Stone. Now it stays here."

"Umm..." Xepher started,"Are you LOST?! This is the dungeons! I over heard from a teacher that that thing was kept on the fifth floor!"

[Clayface (Mostly Inactive)]

"That was actually the third floor," he said, "but they moved it way down here.  The way to see Professor Snape and his Slytherins is to turn left on the floor above us.  You will see a long staircase to the deepest dungeons.  They live at the bottom of that  staircase.  Professor Snape is the only teacher in the dungeons.   His house lives there too."

"I was only exploring... No need to act like a prefect..." Xepher grumbled crossing her arms. Oh she knew Snape well enough to know who he was. He's a cruel malicious man who cares for nothing more than his own house and completely dispises Gryffendore, pureblood or not.
