Zeropaw purred loudly, making it obvious she was happy. In fact, she wanted to make sure that the beige tom knew she was happy, that this was what she wanted. This was the antidote to her sadness, Aerialpaw and catnip. It was such a wonderful thing. Her blue eyes were still glowing dizzily, and the cream she cat didn't even think twice about what she'd just done. It felt so different to have a tom that was all hers, one that loved her and no one else. It was so glorious, she couldn't describe the feelings. Zeropaw nuzzled Aerialpaw, happily. "That was...wow." she breathed, pressing against his side. She twined her tail with his, and purred loudly.

Exhilarated, Aerialpaw licked Zeropaw's cheek and purred, even louder than before. "Wow," he agreed quietly. The beige Tom was actually more elated than he let on. Zeropaw was his.. Not Cerulean's.. Aerialpaw couldn't believe it. Mine.. he thought, pressing himself up against her cream and white fur.

Zeropaw sat down beside the tom as a strange ache filled her body. What...what was going on? She was so dizzy, and all she could recall was catnip and...Oh. Oh this was bad. The catnip had apparently worn off, or something, because suddenly Zeropaw felt panicked. What had she just done?! Mating with Aerialpaw? Sharing catnip?! This seemed so bad. It really did. How could she have thought that coming out in the woods, having catnip, and mating with Aerialpaw would solve anything? Don't get me wrong, she really loved Aerialpaw, but she was an apprentice. Way too young!

Aerialpaw stayed there, content with just being with Zeropaw. Very slowly, the tom began to calm down. Still a little disoriented from the expirience, Aerialpaw started looking around wildly. W-what just happened? It was still there.. In the back of his mind.. Wait, he remembered now. Had he and Zeropaw just...? No, that couldn't be right. But deep down, Aerialpaw knew it was true. He backed away from Zeropaw, staggering a little. She would hate him now. Now he wouldn't have a chance at all with her..

"Aerialpaw...um...did you..." Zeropaw mumbled, not looking the tom in the eyes. Oh, StarClan, why did it have to be this way? She wasn't really mad at him, she was more angry with herself. If she hadn't gotten into the catnip, none of this would have happened.

"I-I didn't.." How could he ever explain this? It was simple; he couldn't. Not knowing what to say or do, Aerialpaw simply ran. He ranaway from Zeropaw, ranaway from what he'd just done..

What will she think of me? Aerialpaw didn't want Zeropaw to hate him, but, now, it seemed like that would be the likeliest outcome of all this.

Zeropaw ducked her head in sadness as her...mate...ran off. She lifted it after a moment, and with a pained face trotted through the woods. "Aerialpaw...I...we have to talk. I don't hate you, I promise. I love you. Please, come talk?" she called, suddenly very cold. It was nighttime, she realized.

Aerialpaw was hidden under a bush, his hazel eyes peering out as Zeropaw entered. He longed to just run out and be with her. To be with her forever and ever.. But it could never be that simple. Slowly, Aerialpaw prowled out from under his bush, looking warily at Zeropaw.

Zeropaw took a deep breath as Aerialpaw emerged from under the bush. She met his eyes with her blue ones, trying to look calm, but she knew she was failing. "Okay...I really don't know quite what to say...But I'm sorry for getting you into this mess. And um...after what we did, I forgive you, so don't try saying you're sorry, okay?" Zeropaw licked Aerialpaw's cheek quickly before sitting down next to him. "But, well, we're so young for all this...What if I have your kits, Aerialpaw? I'm scared" Zeropaw mewed in a small, helpless voice. She didn't mean for it to sound like she was accusing him of anything, especially after she just told him it was pretty much all her fault, but that was kind of how it looked.

Aerialpaw was a little shocked. This hadn't been what he expected Zeropaw to say at all. ".. It'll be alright. We'll figure something out," he mewed, trying to sound soothing as he entwined his tail with hers. Aerialpaw knew those were hollow words, but he wasn't very good at comforting others.

Zeropaw sighed. "I guess I'll go see a medicine cat in a week or whatever. If I'm pregnant, I guess we'll just have to make it work."  the cream she cat mewed, trying to cheer herself up. Now she really didn't have a choice between Cerulean and Aerialpaw at all, even if in some alternate future Cerulean liked her. Now, if she had kits, Aerialpaw would be forever tied into her life. Coldly, Zeropaw debated whether or not to tell her future kits who their father was, if they indeed existed. She'd tell them. Maybe.

Zeropaw sighed. "Um, I'm going to go back to camp soon..." she mewed softly. She gave Aerialpaw's face another soft lick. "It's okay...someday we'll look back and laugh." Hah. What a joke. Someday, she'd look back and cry.
