ic. Paws drummed the sandy earth in a steady thump-thump, thump-thump. The effervescent sunlight tumbled through the trees, it was a beautiful late afternoon. The cat watched as birds flew over his head in a solid V shape. Paws tingled in anticipation. Whiskers twitched with energy. Blood rushed through the cat's veins. Finally, away from camp. Finally away from the devoid of Clan life.</sup>

Ooc: Yay! I'm sooo excited about this! I'm getting her a fancypost soon! Oh, and I forgot to mention that she's a little bit crazy...As in she can hear voices in her head. ._. But it's not that bad. cx

Ic: The spotted light brown tabby was tired of it all. Tired of all five of her littermates constantly pestering her as if she could solve all of their problems. As if she was a wise old medicine cat or something. Ugh, the freedom of being out of the clan seemed to lift a whole new weight off of her bony little shoulders and she was slightly tempted to sprint thoughtlessly through the moist air. But warriors don't do that silly. A voice within her head told her and her paws stayed close to the ground with each new step. The young she-cat tilted her head as she spotted it. A small bank of sand. She had never been this far out of the RiverClan camp and she was always sneaking out unnoticed. Like a shadow. Like an apparition.

ic. The lean brown and white tabby kit pricked his ears. More RiverClan scent! Curiosity overpowered annoyance. This wasn't any cat that he'd seen before, it was a different scent. Agitation pricked at his paws as the tom cautiously padded towards the scent.
"Who's there?" the tom kit called.</sup>

     Apparitionkit's fur puffed out instantly at the sound of the voice and it took her mind a few moments to process that her littermates hadn't followed her. The voice wasn't one of any of her five siblings, that was for sure. Still, who could it have been? Her mind went blank instantly and, without any though to it, she cautiously called out,"I'm Apparitionkit...Who are you?" It might have just been her mind playing tricks on her, for it wasn't uncommon for such a thing to happen to the young she-cat.

^{The cat stiffened, surprised that he got an answer so easily. It was defiantly a she kit, who went by Apparitionkit.
"Apparition... -kit. Your out far from home." the cat inquired. The tom smiled, showing his face from the shadows. Being naturally older, he was naturally taller. The cat's tail flicked with anticipation, eyes glowing. "It's alright, I'm a kit too... but don't get used to it." he warned. "I'll do anything to get out of the nursery."}

      Apparitionkit's head tilted just a little as she spotted the face through the shadows. She ignored pretty much everything that the tom had said other than the fact that he was a kit as well and something about the nursery. "What's your name?" She demanded, blinking her muddy brown eyes curiously. She told him her name, so it was only fair if he told her his. Plus, it would be pretty creepy if he didn't.

Questioning about who she was - Rapidkit couldn't care less. But it would be awkward to just stand there, so he questioned away.}

      "RiverClan is my home." Apparitionkit confirmed with a brisk nod, and she wouldn't have had it any other way. Minnows were her favorite prey and in her freetime, she could often be found by the stream next to camp that her mother allowed her to stray to every so often. She was a true RiverClanner at heart and it ran in her blood,"And you?" She asked, sitting down and wrapping her tail neatly around her paws. She figured that, with a conversation just getting started, that she more than likely wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.

      "A...Half-clanner?" Apparitionkit asked, squinting her eyes as if trying to figure something out or see into Rapidkit's mind or something. Well, that didn't work, so the brown she-cat bravely lifted up her chin and asked,"What's a half-clanner? If HalfClan a clan or something? I've never heard of it." She twitched her whiskers and silenced herself as she realized that the flow of questions might have overwhelmed Rapidkit.

ic. Rapidkit sighed, his whiskers quivering uncomfortably. He had forgotten, of course, that most kits didn't know what being half Clan meant. "Er, no." The tom looked through the trees, seeing the sunlight cascading down, lighting up his face. Warmth rushed through his chilled body. "Being half Clan means, for instance, being half SnowClan and half ThunderClan,"Rapidkit confirmed without switching his gaze from the sun, his eyes squinting at the effervescent light. "But the truth is, I'm not sure if I am. I don't know who my father is in RiverClan, so he must either be dead, or be in another Clan, right?"</sup>

The young she-cat couldn't really be the one to judge when she had other clan blood mixed in with her RiverClan blood,"But you do know your mother, right?" It would be terrible for a cat not to know their own parents, even if it was only one of them!

      Apparitionkit lifted her chin, almost defensively, as she promptly answered,"My mother is called Rainypaw and my father is Tickingclock. I don't think that they like eachother very well though. I mean, they hardly speak unless it's to snap at eachother." The brown she-cat instantly whipped her tail around her mouth as she realized that she had given a bit too much information away. It wasn't dangerous information, just personal.
